Knowing his life was on the line, Rocky didn't dare to hold back his strength anymore and took out his God-killing Sword.

Even though they were on the same side, the contempt smug on Zain's face was immediately replaced with shock and his mouth hung wide open when he felt the astonishing power of Rocky's God-killing Sword. The area was instantly enveloped with its insidious aura, causing even the most powerful warriors of the Shura Race to tremble in fear. The area originally enveloped by the demoness's Spiritual Domain became unstable under the presence of the new aura.

The demoness's eyes widened in shock while a cold sweat dripped down her forehead.

"I need some time to gather my strength!" Rocky said to Layla and the others. In order to use the God-killing Sword's full strength, he must fuel it with his own spiritual power.

"Okay! We'll buy you some time!" Layla nodded to him as she ordered her warriors to charge.

Without hesitation, Anya, Zain, Layla, and three premium-stage Shura Realm masters along with Rubygon, all rushed towards the demoness.

"You are biting off more than you can chew! Fine! If you want to die so bad, I'll help you!" The sight of the others joining hands with Rocky struck the demoness's nerves. Her blood boiled in anger as she let out a defiant scream before turning into black fog and rushing into the group of warriors.

"Mysterious Star Barrier!" With a wave of Layla's hand, a spiritual ball appeared out of thin air and floated in front of her. Spectacular beams of light shot out from it, intertwining with each other as it soared high above the clouds before forming a vast net of stars.

As soon as the demoness approached, Rocky, Anya, Layla, and the other warriors suddenly disappeared from her sight.

This was the ability of the Mysterious Star Barrier. Layla and her allies could clearly see their opponent, but the demoness could not see them.

"Humph! Such an insignificant skill! You think you can fool me with this?" As soon as the words left her mouth, the demoness waved her hand and released a wave of black light directly at the barrier. She was much more powerful than Rocky and the others had imagined.

The Mysterious Star Barrier shattered like thin glass after only a couple of impacts, making the demoness see the warriors again.

The brute force of the attack left Layla moaning in pain as she spat out blood.

The demoness let out a contempt smug when she saw this, but little did she know that the barrier also hid the power of Zain's Demonic Dragon Blade. As soon as the Mysterious Star Barrier went down, the blade shot out of his hand and soared high into the sky before turning into a dragon shadow and crashing down into the demoness.

Boom!

The whole ground around her was lifted up as high as the clouds due to the force of the impact.

"No wonder it's the top treasure of the Shura Race. What an amazing power," Layla murmured as she couldn't help but be in awe. This was the first time she had seen the power of the Demonic Dragon Blade first hand.

"Humph! There's no way she'd survive a direct hit from my Demonic Dragon Blade!" Zain said, thinking that he had already won.

"Don't think the fight's over! I'm afraid that even such a powerful attack won't hurt her at all!" Anya said as she threw cold water on him.

"How is that possible?" Zain simply thought that this was outrageous.
