The Million-Dollar Heart (Percival and Vivienne) novel Chapter 891

Vivienne, after hearing the elderly woman’s words, casually grabbed a napkin from the table to wipe her lips. "It's rare to find someone who can stay true to their heart's desires. Sticking to what you truly want is quite commendable."

The elderly woman continued to sip her porridge. "Indeed, when I saw you designing that engagement ring yourself, I guessed that you and your partner must be deeply in love, cherishing each other immensely."

Vivienne's eyes twinkled with joy, a smile playing at her lips. "Don't worry, we'll do everything we can to make it work."

The old woman nodded in approval.

Her phone rang on the table, and she picked it up to hear Percival's deep, magnetic voice.

"Have you set off yet?" he teased.

"I'm already near the mall, at a small diner..." Vivienne began, only to be interrupted by Percival, "I haven't had breakfast yet. I'll come join you. Just wait there for me."

Vivienne raised an eyebrow. She had wanted to say she was done eating, but since Percival hadn't had his meal, she decided to wait for him.

Soon, a tall and elegant figure approached, bathed in sunlight that cast a gentle halo around him. His dark hair gleamed, and his eyes sparkled with mirth as he looked at her.

"Oh, what a handsome young man, perfectly matched with you, my dear," the old woman remarked with a gossip-thirsty grin upon seeing Percival.

Vivienne nodded earnestly, "I think my Percival is very handsome too."

"Young man, what would you like to eat? I'll make it for you," the old woman stood up, making room for Percival.

"Just the same as Vivienne, thank you, ma'am," Percival nodded politely.

"It's lovely to see a couple who enjoys doing the same things, even eating the same food," the old woman joked before turning to prepare breakfast for Percival.

Sitting across from Vivienne, Percival smiled, "After breakfast, let's stroll through the mall and pick up a few things our new home needs."

Vivienne blinked, puzzled, "New home?"

"Yes, I thought we could start getting it ready, the place we'll live in after we're married. It's a bit early, but knowing what kind of furniture you like will help make it a place you love," Percival explained with a smile.

Vivienne's cheeks flushed, "Percival, you're quite the planner. At the mall, you should also pick what you like. We can look at some design plans together and create a space we both love."

Percival nodded, "I'll follow your lead, Vivienne."

The elderly woman brought over pancakes and porridge, which Percival accepted gratefully.

He shared his pancake with Vivienne, and they chatted casually while sitting by the roadside.

A shiny new black Mercedes parked in front of a towering skyscraper.

The driver opened the door, respectfully announcing, "Miss Brianna Wright, we've arrived at Century Mall."

The woman stepping out of the car, wearing sunglasses, glanced at Percival and Vivienne dining at the food stand and sneered, "To think Century Mall, the biggest in Rivenwood, tolerates such riff-raff dining out front. Some people really can only afford to window shop."

She walked into the mall with disdain, followed by several bodyguards, exuding an air of importance.
