Chapter 493 Simone And Zac’s Extra Story (1)
After resolving the incident with Sage, Bailey invited Simone to enjoy the moon in the backyard one day,
Simone entered the yard and saw him sitting on a stone chair. He exuded a pure and ethereal aura, with a hint of distance, as if he could ascend to immortality at any moment.
Sitting across from him, she glanced at the wine he had prepared on the table. “You seem to be in high spirits today.”
He poured a glass of wine for her and smiled. “The moonlight is exceptionally beautiful tonight.”
Simone played with her wine glass. “Bailey, do you have something to tell me?”
He looked at her and nodded with a smile. “You’re very astute. I am leaving, and I invited you to join me in appreciating the moon tonight as a farewell.”
Simone was surprised. “Leaving? Where are you going?”
He whispered, “I’ve discovered a secret at the source of that cursed crack. There is a barrier at the deepest. part of the crack, which should be a passage to another world. I have heard that our sect leader accidentally fell from another world to this one, and that world possesses spiritual energy that we lack here, just like the cultivators described in novels. So, I want to see that world.”
Simone was taken aback. “So that’s the true purpose of that crack.” She believed that the other world was the world of cultivation, After all, she had experienced so many mini-timelines, and they were all real.
She asked, “Can you break the barrier and go there?” She knew that even though Bailey had a cold temperament, deep down, he enjoyed seeking excitement and exploring the world of cultivation seemed to align with his nature.
Bailey nodded. “I actually crossed over that day and found out that my special physique allows me to bypass that barrier. Then, I discovered that there is a passage, but only those who have achieved the Divine State can withstand the gravitational compression, and I have fulfilled all the requirements to go.”
Simone raised her glass at him with a smile. “I wish you an exhilarating life in that world.”
He clinked his glass with hers. “Thank you, I will” There was nothing here that he was attached to, so he was eager to venture out. The only thing he cared about a little was Simone, his junior.
After pondering for a moment, he said, “Once you have fulfilled your heart’s desires and achieved the Divine State, I can have the flying serpent take you through that crack. I suspect its ancestors were also from there because it possesses a unique aura and can pass through that barrier without any restrictions.”
Simone was not surprised as she had the same suspicion. She smiled and asked, “What do you think I desire in my heart?”
Bailey chuckled and said, “Love and friendship. The reason why I can leave anytime is because I have nothing here that I am attached to, but you have too much that you cannot let go of, so you are not ready to leave.” He said meaningfully, “I think you can save the struggle, just accept it naturally according to your heart and be together if you both have feelings for each other. Once he grows old and passes away naturally, most of your friends would have also passed away. That is when you will have no worries, and it will be time for you to come find me.”

Simone understood what he meant and chuckled, sighing. I’m not struggling: 1 just did not W involve him because I have not eliminated the hidden dangers yet. She had always been a person who was true to her feelings. “Thank you for your insight, and you have a clear perspective. There are indeed many people and things that I cannot let go of. When the time comes for me to let go naturally, I will come find you.” She looked at him with bright eyes. I just hope that you will have already made a name for yourself and will protect me when the time comes.”
Bailey grinned. “No problem.”
They enjoyed the moonlight and chatted while drinking until the next day when Bailey got up and left just as the sun was rising.
After Simone watched him leave, she returned to her room and took a nap. Then, she went to the studio and finished the pending work. Besides, she also brought in a few managers to secure good resources for
her artists.
As a well-known top geomancy master in the industry, many people sought her help with fortune-telling- Additionally, the artists signed by her studio were carefully selected; having a good character was the most basic requirement, followed by ambition and a willingness to improve their acting skills, which put directors arease. As a result, Simone no longer needed to actively seek resources because they simply came to her.
After having her fill playing with the little puppy, Gwen returned and dedicated herself wholeheartedly to work, and the studio continued to grow and thrive.
One day, Simone received a call from Zac. “Simone, I am back. Shall we have dinner tonight?”
Simone smiled. “Sure!”
