“First, my goal is to become a qualified doctor. Second, I will restore to its former glory. And finally, I will make those who wronged and harmed me pay dearly.”
It seems like Ms. Wallace has her priorities crystal clear.
Jacob Moore picked up his coffee from the table and clinked it against Samantha’s cup. “Well, here’s to you, Ms. Wallace. May your dreams come true. And let’s not forget–here’s to our show being a smash hit. About the actor you mentioned earlier–who exactly are you talking about?”
“Sylvan Porter.”
Samantha spoke calmly, but Jacob nearly spat out his coffee when he heard the name. “Who did you say?”
Her expression remained steady as she repeated, “Sylvan Porter.”
He gulped. “Ms. Wallace, let me be honest. When it comes to Sylvan’s reputation, there’s no comparison. I mean, my private life may not be spotless, but it’s nowhere near the mess he’s in. And I was falsely accused.”
Samantha raised an eyebrow. “I believe Sylvan was wrongly accused as well. Think about it, Mr. Moore. This is my investment in your show, and frankly, you don’t have many options. Why not give the person I recommend a shot?”

Samantha’s expression grew stern. “I think it’s more than possible. Trust me on this. Sylvan was wronged. How about this? I’ll help clear his name first. Then, you can decide if you want him as your lead. After all, we’re talking about an award–winning actor here. His skills are undeniable.”
His acting is top–notch, no doubt about that. But character? That’s a problem. I’m counting on this show to turn things around for me, so my lead actor–he doesn’t need to be super famous, but at the very least, he’s got to have a decent reputation and not be hated by the audience.

Samantha nodded at his challenge. “Deal. I’ll prove to you that Sylvan was framed. Keep an
