Jacob’s voice came through. “Ms. Wallace, the video clearing Sylvan’s name on Twitter–did you post that?” 

“That’s right,” she replied. 

He chuckled. “You’re quite clever, Ms. Wallace. I never would have thought of that strategy. However, your approach hasn’t fully cleared Sylvan’s name.” 

While her method hadn’t completely vindicated Sylvan, at least the public wasn’t continuing to reject him. So, asking Sylvan to act in a film should be acceptable now. 

The key was that it wasn’t easy to find an actor who was both talented and cost–effective. Jacob should be grateful for that. 

“Though you haven’t fully cleared Sylvan’s name yet, the public isn’t opposing him anymore. When you cast him in your project, it shouldn’t face any backlash. Plus, I’ll have my team work on getting a broadcasting platform set up, so you don’t have to worry about your show having nowhere to air. And don’t fret if the online crowd decides to criticize you for casting Sylvan. Honestly, after all these years, you must be used to the heat by now, right?” 

Well, Ms. Wallace does have a point! 

“Alright then, since you’ve put it that way, I’ll go ahead and invite Sylvan to join the cast. Just pass him my number so he can get into the project as soon as possible.” 

“Sounds good!” Samantha said before hanging up. 

Now, she needed to convince Sylvan to sign a contract before he could start filming. After all, if there was no contract, how could she expect him to follow her lead? 

With that thought in mind, she closed her laptop and planned to visit Sylvan at the hotel the next day after finishing her classes. 

With Sylvan’s matter settled for now, Samantha headed to the courtyard. She saw Finley crouched down, playing ball with Unity. She approached him and said, “Now that the bidding project is over, don’t you think it’s time to announce the acquisition of the Wallace Corporation?” 

Finley raised an eyebrow. “If I acquire the Wallace Corporation, you won’t have anything left. All the profits from the company will be mine.” 

“I’m more than happy to work for you,” Samantha said with a smile. 

“Even if I don’t pay you?” he teased. 

She nodded enthusiastically. “Absolutely! As long as I’m working for you, I’m happy to do whatever you 

ask.”
