The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 897

After hearing Thomas's words, all the people in the hall became quiet.

They did not expect Thomas was to be announced the next Lord candidate of the Pantheon.

And this candidate had just joined the Pantheon a few days ago. He was in his 20s and had not yet reached the level of sublimation.

It took everyone by surprise.

Hearing Thomas’ answer, the old man was stunned a long time before he opened his mouth, “Lord, it is a serious thing. Don't joke with us. Casey does have talent, but I'm afraid he is not qualified to be our Lord."

Thomas stared at him and said, “I'm serious, although Casey has only joined the Pantheons for a few days, I already checked his past experience, and I brought him here. Whether based on his conduct or qualifications, he was absolutely first-class. I will not die immediately, and I believe that before I die, he is sure to be a powerful man, who can be able to take over the Pantheon."

Everyone became suddenly silent after hearing that with different ideas.

Some of these people did not care who was going to be the Lord of the Pantheon, so they had no objection, so long as it kept the Pantheon going.

And some people coveted to be the Lord, even if they were righteous, they want to get promoted and the old man was one on these people.

He was named Crosby Pearson, who was only second to Thomas in the Pantheon. His strength had reached the advanced stage of the sublimation and he was much smaller than Thomas. Many people once thought that after the death of Thomas, Crosby Pearson would take took over the Pantheon.

In recent years, Crosby had paid countless painstaking efforts to the Pantheon and he should have this qualification.

So Thomas said the Lord candidates was Casey who was just a boy in his eyes, he for sure was not happy about that.

"Lord, We can't agree with that. He has the best talent who is the strongest I have ever seen, but talent cannot be equated with power. He is just a boy who has not reached the level of sublimation, and no one can predict the future things, so I don’t think it is a good idea to rely on him for the future of the Pantheon."

Crosby refuted Thomas without hesitation.

"Yes, Casey is just a young boy, he is impossible to shoulder the burden of the Pantheon."

"Crosby is right. Talent is not everything. No one knows what that boy will turn out to be. It is a rush decision to make him the candidate.”

"He has talent, it does not mean that he will keep it. Many people have fast speed in early training, but to the early stage of the sublimation, they stuck there. He really can’t be the Lord candidate of the Pantheon."
