After they escaped death, Alex finally brought Hayley to the destination. It was a massive tomb. Alex slashed through the large tomb with the Heavenly Chain Sword of Thirteen Stars and rushed inside. Then, he discovered an altar inside. There was also a coffin on top of the altar.
Alex felt his own heartbeat, which had never been stronger.
“Is this what you’re looking for?” Hayley asked.
“This is the coffin that has been calling me!” Alex exclaimed.
Alex knew he couldn’t wait any longer, seeing as the pursuers behind him were already in sight. This was now his greatest reliance, and if it didn’t work, today was sure death.
Buzz!
Alex paid his respects and then pushed the coffin lid open. The two people looked inside and were taken aback.
“How could it be you?” exclaimed Hayley.
This was too surprising. A person was lying inside the coffin. He looked precisely like Alex, wearing nothing on his body but lifelike, even the veins under the skin were visible.
Alex was also taken aback
‘Who exactly is this? What is his name?’
“Fiend Lord, he’s the Fiend Lord!” Hayley suddenly yelled.
She remembered some words written on the inscription of that tomb before, but she didn’t pay much attention at the time. Now, recalling that image, she was certain that the person lying in the coffin was Fiend Lord, once the attendant of the last everlasting beings.
“Fiend Lord? How can it look so much like me?”
“Could it be that you are the reincarnation of the Fiend Lord?” Hayley wondered.
“No, my previous name was Dimitri, and my remnant soul is still in the divine collection!”
“Perhaps it is a reincarnation of a soldier… You try, and your strength should skyrocket if you can fuse with the Fiend Lord’s flesh. Hurry, there isn’t much time…”
When Hayley had finished speaking, the Ancient Divinity and others arrived. They also discovered that the person in the coffin resembled Alex.
“The Fiend Lord soldier’s reincarnation, this kid is a Fiend Lord!”
