Chapter 301
He was beefing up his crew and gang so easily, as if the heavens were giving him a hand, and he couldn’t turn it down!
Arabella must’ve figured out what he was thinking, and she scoffed, “I’m not afraid of owing a debt, I’m just worried you won’t have the guts to take me in.”
Keith burst out laughing, “You’re hilarious. I’m a gang leader, of course, I can handle you!”
The more he looked at Arabella, the more appealing she seemed. Even though she was a girl, the icy cool aúra she radiated was totally badass.
Romeo looked at Arabella, “I didn’t expect you to be so young and already a gang leader.”
“So are you.”
They were about the same age, really.
Romeo looked into Arabella’s eyes, like an adult asking a child, “Do you know where we are?”
They were in the trangular zone, up against the vicious Mafia Wolf. She, a girl, dared to barge in with just one subordinate?
Carl had to admire Arabella’s guts.
Even though he was here alone with Romeo, they had many men waiting outside, all armed with top–notch weapons.
”
Besides, both he and Romeo were stronger than anyone here, which was why they had the guts to come in.
But Arabella, a girl, with a subordinate who didn’t look so tough, just strolled in and took–a–seat.
When Keith heard this, he thought Romeo was questioning Arabella’s abilities and financial resources, thinking she was too confident. Otherwise, why would he ask her if she knew where they were!
If she came here without money, there was no way she would be leaving alive!
He laughed, “Don’t worry, if Mr. Bryant is broke, then the treasure is yours.”
Of course, Mr. Bryant would have to stay and become his woman!
“How much are you willing to pay?” Romeo looked at Arabella with interest.
Arabella surmised that he wanted the cinnamomum tenuis to save his grandma.
She didn’t know where he’d got the information that cinnamomum tenuis could help his grandma, but since their goals were the same, there was no need to overpay.
“Keith, I wanted to ask, ‘does the price we bid earlier still count?” Arabella turned to Keith.
Keith still had a greedy look on his face, as if he was completely smitten by her..
Earlier at the auction, buyer number 1 and buyer number 3 had bid up to 330 million dollars..
If they could go higher.
Keith chuckled greedily, “No, it doesn’t count. Both of you start bidding again.”
“The starting bid is 3 million dollars?” Arabella asked.
“Yes.”
“Alright, I bid 3 million dollars.” Arabella bid right away.”
Keith was taken aback. Why weren’t they adding to the 330 million dollar base, but rather starting from scratch?
