Chapter 331
“I have to head home for dinner tonight, so I can’t hang with you.”
“Alright.” Romeo gently patted her on the head and then opened the car door for her.
As they were on the road, Arabella asked about Romeo’s grandma, and they chatted about their jobs. Soon, they arrived at Reflections Villa.
Romeo helped her unbuckle the seatbelt, opened the car door, and gave her a somewhat reluctant hug. “Can you make some time to hang out with me next time?”
“Sure.” Arabella turned around, about to walk into the gate, when she noticed something shiny on the ground. Oil?
Under the sunlight, the large area of oil looked like water.

Someone must have cleaned the garden to cover the oil; the ground was all wet.
If she didn’t look closely, she wouldn’t notice.
Who spilled the offthere?
Were they hoping she’d slip?,”
In one of the windows of the main house, there seemed to be a pair of eyes sneakily watching.
Without a flinch, Arabella stepped on the wet spots on the ground, perfectly avoiding the oil, and walked straight in.
“She just walked in like that?” Martha, hiding behind the curtain, couldn’t believe it: “I purposely spilled two buckets of oil; why isn’t the ground slippery?” Serena felt regretful: “Did the garden cleaning wash away the oil?”
“No, Holly cleaned the garden first, then I spilled the oil. By rights, Arabella should have slipped!”
Unexpectedly, she just strolled in without a problem!
At this moment, Arabella walked into the main house, scaring the two of them into pretending to discuss curtain designs.
“Serena, about your room’s curtains, do you want to switch to this floral pattern?”
“Yeah, don’t you think it’s pretty?”
“Romeo’s looking for you.” As Arabella passed by Serena, she casually mentioned, “He has something to tell you.”
Romeo was looking for her?
Serena was thrilled and wanted to rush out but was held back by Martha’s glare!
Normally, Romeo wouldn’t be looking for her!
Did Arabella notice the cooking oil on the ground and try to trick Serena into slipping?
Arabella climbed up two steps and casually mentioned, “He’s over there; if you don’t want to go, at least let someone inform him.”
How could Serena not want to go?
She’s been dreaming of talking to Romeo!!
She immediately dashed out of the main house, and Martha hurriedly followed, saying, “Serena, be careful; there’s oil on the ground.”
“It’s fine; Arabella didn’t slip when she came in. If you’re worried, we can walk slower.”
Before Serena could finish, she slipped and suddenly fell backward.
