Chapter 435
“Welcome to the QY counter, how can I assist you today?” A polite sales associate immediately approached and asked gently. “Hey, my fiancee has got a big dinner tonight, do you have any suitable dresses and accessories for her?” Zachary asked. “Absolutely. Every piece of clothing from QY is one–of–a–kind worldwide, I guarantee your girlfriend will be the center of attention.” The sales associate led the way and said, “Please, follow me.”
“Your store is huge.” Yolanda noticed that the neighboring LV store only occupied three storefronts, while QY took up twenty. “Your rent must be sky–high, huh?” “Actually, it’s rent–free,” the associate replied with a polite smile. “We’ve officially partnered with McMillian Corporation, that’s their gesture of goodwill.” Goodwill?
McMilian Corporation was splashing the cash, providing rent–free accommodation for twenty storefronts.
Yolanda suddenly felt a pang of envy. Being partnered with McMillan Corporation, QY had a bright future ahead, unlike their current predicament in the Murphy family, where large corporations had all severed ties with them.
She was a little down in the dumps at the thought.
“Here’s our evening wear section, would you like me to make some recommendations, or would you like to browse on your own?”
“I’ll take a look myself.” Yolanda reached out to touch the new arrivals, unable to suppress her excitement.
The dresses were both beautiful and unique, she could already see herself wearing them, she would definitely shine at tonight’s dinner.
“Yoli, how about this one? Wanna give it a shot?” Zachary held up a strapless dress for her.
Yolanda was instantly attracted, it would be great if she could take this beautiful dress home.
Suddenly, an idea hit her. If she bought it under Zachary’s name and wore it herself in secret, QY might not find out, right?
She would just wear it quietly tonight.
With that, she headed to the fitting room, and emerged a while later.
Zachary saw her in the pink strapless dress, looking sweet and adorable. As he was admiring her, he caught a glimpse of a familiar figure out of the corner of his
eye.
Arabella?
What was she doing here?
“Zachary?” Noticing his gaze, Yolanda also looked in that direction, her face instantly turning sour. Why was Arabella here? Could she afford to shop here?
Judging by her attire, she didn’t seem to be working here. Had she come shopping with the money their father had given her last time? Or was there a rich man accompanying her?
With that thought, Yolanda looked around, but didn’t see Arabella’s rich man, feeling a bit let down.
Arabella noticed their presence and thought, just her luck. Just as she was about to turn and leave, Yolanda called out, “Sister.”
This “sister” drew the attention of a few people around them.
