Chapter 447
Olga was shocked, she could not believe that the Murphy family had to spend all their fortune to buy a Maybach, and yet, Arabella could easily drive a limited edition Rolls–Royce.
The car’s plate number was so eye–catching and familiar, as if she had seen it somewhere before.
She couldn’t recall where she had seen it, but one thing was clear, Bella was seriously loaded.
Of course, as the founder of QY, how could she not be?!
At this point, Attlee was blocking the car door, not allowing Arabella to get in, while Olga was on her knees, tears rolling down her face like pearls.
“Bella, I was wrong. What should I do for you to forgive me?”
Olga sobbed, obviously regretful, “I wish I could go back in time. Can we go back?”
Before Arabella could respond, Olga started crying again, “Now you’re successful, you don’t recognize me as your mother, right? But over the years, you’ve grown up, and I’ve made sacrifices. Can’t you see how hard I’ve worked?”
Wiping away her tears, regardless of the pain in her knees from kneeling on the hot ground, Olga said in a choked voice, “So many times I came home from work and you were already asleep, I went to your room to tuck you in, touch your little face, you have no idea how much I loved your obedient manner.”
“So many times I wanted to be home with you, but due to work, I had to get updates from your grandma.”
“We wanted to be there as you grew up, but the Murphy family needed your dad and me to work hard. So many nights, I’d be away for work, missing you until I was in tears.”
Arabella looked at her hypocritical face, her patience worn out.
“If I wasn’t the founder of QY, not a musical genius, not a top student, and didn’t have other connections, would you still be here begging for my forgiveness?” Stung by Arabella’s words, Olga was taken aback, her tears stuck in her eyes.
“If I wasn’t driving a Rolls–Royce today, but riding a bicycle, would you still be here admitting your wrongs?” Arabella sneered, “You just want to gain from me. Don’t disgrace the title of a mother. You’re not worthy.” “Bella.” Olga didn’t expect her to be so sharp. Before she could say anything else, she was interrupted.
“My ties with the Murphy family were severed the moment you put me up for adoption online. I’ve repaid any debt I owed the Murphy family for raising me. I’ve never taken advantage of your Murphy family. If it wasn’t for grandma, the Murphy group would be long gone. Do you still have the nerve to ask for my forgiveness?”
Hearing her words, Olga turned pale, and Attlee was torn. They never thought their biggest mistake was offending a tycoon like Arabella.
