Today, over 600 people showed up, mostly friends and relatives of the Panter family. So, they were really just throwing all the Panter family’s dignity out the window. How was Zachary supposed to face people after this? 

Mrs. Panter finally snapped out of her daze and angrily shoved Olga. “Is this how the Murphy family raised daughter? No sense of shame, utterly disgraceful.” 

In the video, Yolanda looked really young. It must have been from a year or two ago. 

How old was she a year or two ago? 

Olga was totally dumbstruck. Though most of the guests that came today were from the Panter family, there were also some from the Murphy family. This engagement party had turned into a circus in front of everyone. She couldn’t bear to lose face like this! 

Without thinking, she grabbed hold of Mrs. Panter’s hand and tried to explain nicely, “Mrs. Panter, you know what kind of person Yoli is. She wouldn’t do something like this. She must have been set up!” 

Attlee quickly chimed in, “Yeah, you know how people these days could edit videos. The girl in the video was definitely someone else. Someone must have stirred up trouble and tried to ruin the engagement party. Whoever you are, come out now!” 

“Mr. Murphy, do you think we’re blind? Can’t you, as parents, recognize your own daughter? Can you really fake a face and voice?” Mr. Panter was so angry that his face turned red. He was ready to punch the hell out of these shameless Murphys! 

With all these guests here, he lost all his dignity! 

Olga didn’t know how to defuse this awkward situation and called out to Yolanda in desperation, “Yoli, say something, would you?” 

Only then did Yolanda snap out of it. Right, she could deny it. After all, the person involved wasn’t here, so she could say whatever she wanted! 

So, she started to cry. “I don’t know who made this video or why it was shown during the ring exchange. Who are you? What do you want? Are you trying to ruin my engagement party with Zachary? If you have the guts, come out and face me!” 

She looked at Zachary, her face wet with tears, a mix of hurt and defiance. “You are my fiancé, and you all will be my family!” 

She was referring to Mr. and Mrs. Panter. As tears streamed down her face, she held back the pain and said, “None of you asked me. One hit me, one misunderstood me, and one insulted my parents! Don’t you think that’s a bit much? Is this how the Panter family raised their children?” 

The room fell silent. 

Yeah, did the Panter family act too rashly? This was an engagement party! 

They hit the bride–to–be in front of everyone. 

The bride’s family were the richest people in Tranquil City! 

Zachary’s palm stung from the slap. Yeah, he did overreact, hitting her without knowing the full story in front of over 600 people. 

Seeing her face turn red and swollen, Zachary remembered the injuries she had sustained in the past couple of days, and his heart ached.
