Janie's apartment consists of 2 bedrooms and a living room. It looked like no one lived there for several days. They did not see any messages left by Janie after looking around.

However, Emmeline saw a pregnancy test kit in the toilet.

Emmeline immediately recalled the day when she was set up by Evelyn. Janie must have found out about her pregnancy. She called Janie and asked her to accompany her to Evelyn's banquet. Janie said she was not feeling well.

Emmeline was teary again as she blamed herself for her carelessness. If she had visited Janie in time by comforting her, things would have been different.

"It's all my fault. Janie told me that she wasn't feeling well and she was at the apartment. Why didn't I come to visit her?"

"Where should we search for her? Janie didn't leave any message."

"Why don't we go to her hometown? Maybe she's hiding there." Benjamin suggested.

"Her hometown? It makes sense."

Benjamin was instructing his secretary to look for Janie's hometown address when Emmeline's phone rang.

It was Abel calling.

"Hubby."

"What's wrong, Emma? You're crying?"

"What's wrong? Who's at your side? Who bullied you?" Abel got worried immediately.

"It's Ben," Emmeline muttered.

"What? Benjamin?" Abel said angrily, "Why is he bullying you? Emma, don't be afraid. I'm going to Adelmar for him now!"

"No no no! It's not Ben who bullied me. He made me angry and agitated."
