Mona felt it did not matter who Ava’s boyfriend was as long as Ava was happy. 

She still remembered the period when Ava was drunk, constantly crying, and depressed because of Bud. Ava had finally broken free from the bad situation. 

If Ava knew nothing had happened between Bud and Chelsea, she would have been upset for nothing

Mona leaned softly against his shoulder. She was wearing bright red pajamas. It was very big and draped loosely over her body.

Mona was placed on the pure white bed by Maxwell. Her thick black hair fell down, forming a sharp contrast with the color of the bedsheets. The scene was very eye–catching. 

Her mind was blank. She was like a porcelain doll in the show cabinet. She was both precious and fragile. 

Maxwell quietly bent over in front of her. He kissed her attentively, not missing even the single mole near her collarbone. 

After a while, Maxwell suddenly had an idea. It would be good if they had a small child who looked like Mona and him. 

“Honey, turn off the lights!” Mona said shyly. 

For some reason, she felt a little nervous being stared at by Maxwell.

When Maxwell heard Mona’s voice, he lost his train of thoughts. He reached out his arm and turned off the lights in the room, leaving only the warm nightlight beside the bed.
