"Go home Alexandra, I won't say it again"
Nathaniel begins to walk toward the bathroom, wanting nothing more than to get away from her. Staying next to her made his blood boil and he didn't want that anymore, not when she wasn't being honest with her.
"Wait" she whispers but he ignored her, moving briskly to the bathroom.
"Nathaniel!" She States aloud and he halts.
"What do you want?" He turns around.
"Why?" A lot of runs through her face
"What do you want Alexandra?"
"Why don't you believe me?"
"Do I have to answer that?"
"Yes" standing up, she moves closer to him.
"I'm sorry but I don't"
"Yes you do Nathaniel"
"Isn't it obvious that you are a liar"
"How? I'm telling you the truth, what I said to you in the woods is not true at all. I have no interest whatsoever in Adam Hawthorn"
"Oh really? How am I supposed to believe you?"
"Look into my eyes Nathaniel and you will see that I'm trying to play games with you"
He closes the space between them. "You've played games with me all through and that's enough"
"Just look"
Without hesitation, Nathaniel gazes into her eyes and she gazes back hoping he will see the truth staring down at him. She had never loved Adam, all this happened because she choose to exert her revenge against the people responsible for her death in the past.
"Tell me you see it just like I do"
Nathaniel smiles, and his eyes soften. "Yes. Yes I see it"
Alexandra's face lit up brightly. "Really?"
Nathaniel frowns. "Yea so don't tell me to come back again" He turns to leave when she holds his arm.
"Nathaniel wait"
"I don't have time for this Alexandra. What more do you want?"
"I want you"
Nathaniel chuckled. "You're funny"
"I'm telling the truth, Nathaniel"
"What am I to you?" He loosens her grip around his arm.
"You're my mate"
"That's the thing, I'm just your mate!" He yells. "Not the one in your heart and not the one you were planning to run with"
"How could you say that when I already told you that none of what I said back there is the truth"
"Let's say you are telling the truth, does it change anything?"
"Yes it does" she attempts to touch his face but he takes a step backward, shaking his head disbelievingly.
"It doesn't change anything because, at the end of the day, he's still in your mind. You want Adam"
"No I don't" she states firmly
"Yes, you do!" He yells
"No I don't" she yells back
"Yes! Yes, you do! You do!"
"I don't!"
"Admit it you do!" He screams, his eyes filled with rage.
"Yes I do" she breathes out, calming her nerves. "I do have him in my mind but is not what you are thinking?"
"What am I thinking?"
