The Reclaimed Rose (Annalise and Steven) novel Chapter 727

Willow seriously considered my words; then, she agreed with me. However, she said woefully, "If you sleep together again tonight, you have to tell me!"

"Of course!"

The truth was Zane felt bad for Willow. After all, her parents passed away when she was little, so she never had the chance to sleep in the same bed as another adult. Instead, she always slept alone.

Zane said, "But Mommy and I work late into the night. Will that affect your sleep?"

Willow immediately shook her head and said, "No, it won't! I sleep quickly and soundly! Even if you're listening to music, it won't affect me at all."

Upon hearing that, Zane felt relieved. He said, "That's good."

However, Willow was still worried. She dried her tears and stared intently at me instead. Upon noticing that, I chuckled and said, "I promise I will tell you."

It was then that Willow finally felt assured. I continued, "Actually, let's not wait until tonight. We can tell you now that we're going to sleep together tonight. Would you like to join us?"

Immediately, Willow nodded and exclaimed, "Yes!"

Willow, having secured her spot in advance, felt better. After washing up, she exercised as usual, humming happily the entire time.

Willow held her chin high and declared, "I'm smart! Don't try to be all lovey-dovey and leave me behind! We're a family, so we should spend time together."

Zane and I were just happy to see Willow in her innocent self. "You're right. We'll do as you say, Willow!"

After exercising, Willow went into the living room and shared what happened this morning with Milton and Dorothy. When they heard her words, their faces fell. They exchanged looks before finally looking down simultaneously.
