The Rejected Hybrid novel Chapter 77

I hurried down to the sitting room and for real, Dorian was standing there waiting for me, seeing him made me so happy, at first, I had disbelief the guard, this was the last thing I expected but I guess Dorian had heard what was going on and decided to rescue his father from me.

"Dorian, you are back finally?" I smirked and he nodded with a yelp looking around the whole building,

"Where is my father?" He asked still looking around,

"Your father??...oh you mean the Alpha?...he is in the dungeon;" I replied with a short laugh, his brow furrowed,

"Do you get my word?... I asked about the Alpha and not Elena, and what are these demons doing here?" He asked innocently making me doubt if he knew all that had happened.

"Where had you been?...you ran away from the battle then why come back?" I asked and he scoffed waking over to the couch to sit down.

"Don't dare to sit there, no need of resting or feeling at him because you are dying tomorrow!" I stated bluntly making him turn sharply at me.

"What did you say?" He asked with a raised brow.

"You heard me right, I am so happy you returned, it is a brave act, dying with your family never other than running away into bidding is heroic" I laughed walking closer to him.

"Elf, what are you saying?...what the hell is going on?...was Elena right when she said you are a demon? All these demons around the Royal House, are they your colleagues?... Elf!" He called out in shock making me laugh.

"I got no time to explain a single shit, I'm a demon, a head Demon, very powerful than anything you can think of, don't think of fighting me because I'll end up breaking all your bones, I'm here to avenge what Lillian did to me...." I paused and grab his collar while he tried releasing himself.

With full force, I pushed him to the wall hardly that his head bled at the slam,

"I owe no one a single explanation, listen, I am not your mother neither I'm I Darren's mate, I came here for one thing and that is to wipe you all, I'm a winner already, you just showed up and would be dying with them, so get ready!" I croaked.

"When did you turn to a demon because the woman I knew can't hurt a fly" he breathed getting me pissed up,

"Beat him up!" I commanded the demons around,

"After that, tie him up and keep him right beside his father, they should both see how useless they are, like father like son," I said laughing more hardly walking away to my room, I should get enough rest for tomorrow, a day when I'll wipe out one of the greatest pack.

It would surely be adventurous.

Darren's POV.

I was about shutting my eyes to sleep when the door opened only for me to look up and see my only son who I hoped on being dragged in after being thoroughly beaten,

It was like my heart was shattered with a heavy metallic object, I felt exhausted, it was over for real, it was surely going to happen,

After so many years, for real. The Silver Moon Pack is ending shamefully...

Hot tears covered my eyes making my vision blurred, he was tied just the same way as me, how did they find him?

Just then, he looked up at me and I heard his weak voice in me as he mind-linked.

"Dad, there is the hope of survivor" he mumbled making me arch my brow, his words were more like a taunting one, it was clear all hope is gone, this is night already and she would begin the killing tomorrow, no neighbouring Pack joins the fight with any pack fighting with the demons...

"Stop giving me silly hopes, how did they find you?" I mind link back to him feeling very weak at it since I got no or fewer powers.

"I gave myself to them," he said and my eyes widened.

"What the hell!!!" I huffed but seeing him smile made me calm down as I wonder what was his plan.

"Tell me why you did it because I don't know my son as being foolish, there must be a reason" I breathed deeply.

"I'll go into a fight with Elf tomorrow, one on one, if I win her, she will proceed in killing the whole pack and me too, if I win, then she won't kill anyone but go back to the demon clan with her legions of demons," he said and I sneered at him.

I had to check if he was in his right senses, maybe he was drugged.

"Are you drugged or partly insane?...how on Earth is this a good plan?... Elf will kill you and your wolf in one second, it would be more shameful, didn't you think of something else, this is a foolish act!" I growled.

"That's why I choose it, she would then accept, then Elena would get the chance to be released, her mind would be away from her giving the dragon woman the chance to open that door" he muttered leaving me confused.

"Dragon woman?...who is the Dragon woman?" I asked but he shrugged and grunt.

"I need to sleep and bear these pains for tomorrow, I don't know if I'll survive before she would be able to save Elena and Jason, but then, I'll gladly die if that would be the only way Elena and Jason would be free and fight Elf for us." He exhaled dozing off...

I shut my eyes and grit my teeth, I'm confused about who the dragon woman is and her ability to open the door but I only pray for it to work out, if only Elena can come out with her lover Jason, Elf would be destroyed.

King Bane's POV.

I lay on my bed facing the ceiling tracing every single line there with my eyes as I drown in deep thought, I kept thinking of what Lillian feels about me,

Like, all those while we shared those sweet and romantic moments, she didn't love me or what?

Why on Earth would she not want me to know where she is this much that she took the maiden away, the very fact that she is alive was ripping my heart off, I had once thought she was dead and now knowing she is alive and doesn't want to see me is something that made me feel like crying...

Just then, a knock was heard on the door.

"Come in!" I sighed without caring to see who was at the door.

"Another message from the Silver Moon Pack, they cancelled the invitation," my messenger said and handed the letter to me.

I opened it and frowned at what I saw there,

It just said Darren was joking and that is something I don't believe, something is wrong, I would have waved it off without much care if it isn't related to my Hybrid power,

Do you know what it means that someone got the same Hybrid powers as me? I badly need to check on him, who knows he might be related to my Lillian and the child I got.

"I will be going there but it won't be tomorrow, the next day after tomorrow, we would go to the Silver Moon Pack in disguise, I need to find out who that guy is by myself since Darren wants to keep it secret" I gruffed and he bowed.

"But, you don't have to stress yourself, I can go and spy there, I can arrange other dragon men to do it, we would give you whatever information we got" He suggested and I breathed.

"Don't mind, I need to leave here and find out so many things, who knows I might find Lillian" I sighed covering the duvet over my face, I heard his footsteps as he walked away, once again the room became gloomy and lonely.

I can recall that night, right on this bed, Lillian lay with me...

Oh, God.

Lillian where are you?..what is my crime?
