There were noises.
The shark seemed to realize that there was prey on the boat. They kept jumping and swimming in the sea, trying to knock the boat over.
"Fuck, why don't we just fire a few shots and chase these sharks away?" Jaydon frowned and cursed.
Bruce shook his head. "No. The smell of blood will attract more sharks."
"Then we'd better start the boat and get out of here."
"If the sharks overturn the ship later, we'll be doomed."
"Yes, yes." Bruce thought for a moment and quickly returned to the driver's seat.
Then, he prepared to start the boat and leave.
Just as the engine was about to start, it suddenly stopped.
After all, the engine had not been used for years. It had just been turned off, so it was very difficult to start it again.
A creaking sound appeared.
"What's wrong? What's going on?"
Bruce frowned. "Damn it, I can't start the boat."
"Seriously?"
"What should we do?"
Bruce frowned and calmed down. He tried to twist the key a few more times. Unfortunately, the engine was buzzing and could not be started at all.
"What kind of lousy boat is this? What should we do?"
"Can you fix it now?" Jaydon asked anxiously.
"It's so dark now. I can't see anything. Even if I want to repair it, I won't be able to see it until dawn."
Another sound of a shark jumping out of the water came.
A great white shark jumped out of the water and knocked on the small boat.
"Ugh!" Even though Jaydon and Aria were sitting, they were almost overturned into the sea.
"Hold on tight. These sharks are attacking the ship."
"Oh no, the birdcage fell into the sea."
"What should we do?"
Seeing this, Bruce became even more anxious. "Without the seabirds, we can't find Paradise Island at all. Hurry up and bring the birdcage up.
"Where's the flashlight? Bring it here!"
Seeing this, Aria immediately stopped him. "Bruce, no, it's too dangerous. The sea is full of sharks."
Bruce frowned and urged anxiously, "We can't care so much. Hurry up and take the flashlight. We don't want the seabirds eaten by the sharks!"
As he spoke, Bruce had already stood up. His sharp eagle eyes scanned the shadows of the birdcage in the sea.
With his current vision, he could actually see clearly at night. However, he still needed to use the flashlight to determine the exact location.
The birdcages were floating about 100 feet away from the small boat. If they didn't hurry up and pick up the cages, the seabirds would be torn apart by the sharks.
Bruce was burning with anxiety. He could not care less. He took a deep breath and prepared to go into the sea.
When Aria saw this, her heart instantly rose to her throat. She hurriedly hugged Bruce's waist tightly. "Bruce, no, you really can't go down. It's too dangerous in the sea. I won't allow you to go down."
