Chapter 113 Lamont Is Fickle
Miriam was the first one to serve someone so happily. The smile on her face suddenly made Lamont even more depressed.
He subconsciously thought that only Amelie could call him Mr. Byron when she served
him.
“Enough. Enough. You can leave now. If I don’t call you, don’t appear in front of me.”
The crisp sound of the plate breaking made Miriam tremble again. How fickle Lamont
was.
Miriam was innocent and wronged. Looking at the cold eyes, she suddenly understood
something.
“Mr. Byron, you were just using me to anger Ms. Mullen, right?”
“Shut up and get lost!”
Although Miriam had been with Lamont for so long and was used to his bad temper, he was different from when he was angry at other times.
Her heart felt like it was being squeezed, and she felt humiliated.
Miriam felt that she was somewhat stupid and ignorant. She actually thought that what Lamont had done just now was true. But he just showed off in front of his ex–wife.
What was so good about Amelie?
Miriam silently wiped away her tears. Only when she came out of the ward did she calm. herself down. She had helped Lamont a lot, but in the end, she had received such.
treatment.
Miriam, who was still an innocent young lady two days ago, seemed to have been.
splashed with a bucket of cold water by the person she admired the most.
At the Mullen’s villa.
“Baby, you’re still weak. You can’t always sit in front of the computer!”
“Yes, baby. Look at what we have brought you.”
Several soft voices echoed in Amelie’s ears. But she was not in the mood to deal with
those things and was focusing all her attention on the computer file.
She could not rely on Jeff to investigate Willard’s information, and she could not sit still. In her opinion, nothing was better and more reliable than the information she
found.
Amelie coughed lightly.
Amelie picked up a glass of water and took a big gulp of water. She inadvertently glanced at her three brothers beside her.
Puff!
In an instant, she spat the water on Rex.
“I’m sorry, Rex. You… Why did you dress like this?”
Amelie said apologetically and found a towel to dry the water stains on Rex, who looked
aggrieved, but his appearance was too funny.
“I’m playing your favorite game when you were young. The role–play. You always want
Aaron to play Little Red Riding Hood…”
The more Rex said, the smaller his voice became.
Looking at Daron and Sergio, one was holding high–level building blocks and the other
was holding a beautiful Barbie doll.
Only Aaron reacted. “Amelie grew up a long time ago.”
She was now a grown–up.
Rex spent the least time with Amelie. Every time he went home to visit his family after completing his mission, Amelie would chase after him. Now, she had become a graceful lady.
Rex’s nose went sour, and he almost cried.
