The Return of the Disguised Princess novel Chapter 277

Chapter 277 Abducted

“Yes, the doctor said that I must make a prompt decision about the treatment plan. Madam, what should I do?”

Kelly choked with so bs.

Cynthia sneered in her heart. Instead of answering the question, she took Kelly’s hand.

“Don’t worry. You’ll be fine. Go back and have a good rest. I’ll find an expert for you.”

Kelly nodded gratefully as if seeing a savior.

A trace of indifference flashed across Cynthia’s eyes.

Amelie is going to continue to discuss the cooperation with Mr. Smith.

As soon as she came out of the house, several mysterious people took her away.

“Where are you taking me?”

Amelie looked coldly at the man in black and put her hand in his bag, trying to make a

call.

“Ms. Mullen, our boss wants to see you. He hopes you’ll give him the honor.”

“Your boss?”

Amelie was confounded.

Who was their boss? Did she know him?

She was led to an advanced sanatorium.

When she was taken into a ward, she figured out who invited her over.

“Mr. Reed? How did you…”

He had been in the hospital.

“Ms. Mullen, long time no see. Thank you for saving my life.”

“Do you just want to thank me? That’s unnecessary. If there’s nothing else, I should

go.”

With that, Amelie turned to leave.

Just a few steps away, she was stopped by a man in black.

“Wait! Shouldn’t you give back the object you took while I was unconscious?”

When Amelie heard this, her face instantly darkened.

“What do you mean? Did I steal your things?”

This couldn’t be true. How could he possibly know that when he was in a coma? Why was he so sure she stole it?

“Didn’t you?”

Earnest’s eyes turned cold.

“No…”

Just as she was about to speak, Earnest suddenly got up and grabbed her neck.

He then tightened his grip.

In pain, Amelie struggled, trying to shake off his hand.

“That’s a false accusation. Although I’m beautiful, you can’t hit on me like this.”

“Tsk…”

Earnest shook off her chin angrily and took out a handkerchief to wipe his hands.

Did this guy despise her for being dirty?

“I’ve given you a chance to confess, but you prefer the hard way.”

He narrowed his eyes and waved his hand.

Immediately afterward, a few men in black came in. Every one of them looked scary.

“What do

you

want?”

Amelie frowned, staring at Earnest who was gloomy and silent.

“No one can withstand the means of the few of us. Miss, be smart and confess. You don’t

want to suffer!”

The man in the lead had a sarcastic look.

“Bah! You invited me here but treated me so rudely. Let me go immediately. Don’t forget that I’m not someone you can afford to offend, and I don’t have the thing you

want.”

The men in black suddenly stepped forward and tied her up. She couldn’t move at all.

If she were not tied up, these people wouldn’t have been able to subdue her.

“Really?”

When Earnest heard that, he walked up to her.

Amelie looked away.

“Certainly.”

“Okay, I’ll believe you. Where is it? Tell me now.”

“This woman is really not simple.”

“Sir, what should we do? We’ll go and catch her.”

“It’s okay. Let’s go.”

Earnest smiled playfully and then closed his eyes.

Amelie stood up and dusted off her hands when she could no longer see the car.

“Interesting! Who the hell is Mr. Reed? How dare he makes a move on me!”

With that, she walked away.

On the other side of the forest was a temple, where the (g o d) of the mountain was worshiped by local villagers.

It seemed to be a special occasion today, and a lot of pilgrims gathered there.

Amelie followed the trail and came to the gate of the temple.

Besides pilgrims, there were some tourists.

“What kind of place is this? It has attracted so many people here.”

Just as she was about to step into the temple, a familiar voice suddenly rang out behind

her.

It was none other than Earnest.

Amelie’s pupils dilated in shock. Afraid that he would recognize her, she didn’t dare to

look back.

When she was flustered, she saw a small door on the side and quickly dodged in.

“Sir, I have sent someone to chase after her. We’ll soon catch her.”

“All of you will die if you can’t find her!”

Earnest growled.

“It was my fault. I’m willing to take the punishment.”

As the footsteps went farther and farther away, Amelie could no longer hear what they

were saying.

“Sure enough, these jerks are still trying to hunt me down!”

She sighed, sat down on the threshold, and panted.

She wiped the sweat off her cheeks and inadvertently saw something on the ground where Earnest had passed by just now.

Amelie moved over curiously and found that it was a golden plate with the word ‘Reed’ engraved on it.
