The Return of the Disguised Princess novel Chapter 365

The following day, while Amelie was still sleeping, Lamont had already left the room.

Looking at the quiet living room, he guessed that Amelie hadn’t gotten up yet. He walked into the kitchen as usual and put on an apron.

At this time, Amelie was still asleep.

She went through so much last night that she couldn’t sleep until midnight.

Fortunately, when it stopped raining after midnight, she could fall asleep.

Amelie vaguely heard something outside. She then opened her eyes. She glanced at the time at hand. It was already eight o’clock in the morning. She quickly sat up straight.

“How can I sleep for so long? I’m going to the studio today! I have to go there anyway.”

Amelie made up her mind and completely forgot that Lamont was still at home.

She rummaged through her clothes, vaguely heard the movement from outside, immediately became nervous, and walked to the door in fear.

“Is there anyone outside?”

She quickly picked up the stick in the corner, ready to go out.

Suddenly, she remembered what happened yesterday.

Was there someone outside? Could it be Lamont? Did he get up already?

“God, how did I forget it? Lamont spent the night at home yesterday.” Amelie murmured.

Amelie thought of this, so she quickly changed her clothes and left the room in a hurry.

When she walked out of the bedroom, she smelled the aroma of food.

Amelie smelled the fragrance, and her stomach growled.

She was starving.

Walking cautiously to the kitchen door, she saw Lamont making breakfast.

Mr. Byron, it’s really amazing you got up so early.”

Amelie said in a low voice.

“Is it still early? It’s too late for me.”

Lamont didn’t look back, but his words were full of irony.

Amelie didn’t speak but smiled.

She felt delighted to have breakfast.

Ten minutes later, Lamont came out with two plates.

“I made it simple. The kitchen has few ingredients, but these should fill you up.”

As Lamont said, he sat down at the dining table and ate calmly.

Amelie looked at the food on the plate and was satisfied.

“It doesn’t matter. It’s all that I like to eat.”

She picked up a fork and began to eat.

“Just enough for you to eat. Have you not been to the studio these days?”

“Huh? How do you know?”

Amelie asked curiously.

“Nothing. I guess it.”

In fact, Lamont had been visiting Amelie at the studio for several days but had not seen her. Only then did he know that Amelie was always at home.

“I’ll go to the studio in a while. Can you give me a ride?”

Amelie suddenly thought of Rex, and an idea came into her mind.

If she could have dressed up and left with Lamont, Rex’s subordinate wouldn’t have found her.

“Of course. But… why did you suddenly ask me to send you off? Why? Shouldn’t you tell me?”

Lamont was brilliant, and he guessed what was wrong right away.

Amelie didn’t speak, but her eyes dodged a little.
