Chapter 118 Don’t Be So Self–Righteous (1)
“Valerie, you came.”
Galen, who had just gotten up and was leaning against the bed, arrived at the door of the ward with Valerie following Derek.
“Grandpa! Are you okay?”
Valerie grabbed the fruit basket and approached the edge of Galen’s bed, taking hold of Galen’s slightly cool hand.
Her heart clenched with pain.
“I’m fine, Valerie. Grandpa was just too tired. The doctor said he just needs to rest for a while.”
Galen reached out and rubbed Valerie’s head, immediately changing the topic to prevent the atmosphere from becoming so oppressive.
Derek didn’t know when he also walked over to the side and sat next to Valerie, quietly watching their interaction. He held a plate of washed fruits in his hand and began peeling them.
Calvin stood behind, with a slight smile on his face.
Gently gazing at the scene in front.
But the heart was still filled with deep unease.
Grandfather’s situation was different from before.
He quietly walked out of the ward and found the doctor in charge of Galen.

Chapter 112 Don’t Be Go Self Righteous (1)
“Doctor, excuse me, I would like to ask about my grandfather’s health condition…”
He nervously looked at Galen’s attending physician, his eyes filled with
worry.
“Oh, you don’t have to worry. The elderly person has just been having trouble sleeping lately, and on top of that, all of their previous health issues suddenly resurfaced.”
“Rest more and eat lighter, there will be improvement.”
This hospital was the most powerful one under Grandpa Mica.
Since the doctors said so, Calvin’s uneasiness in his heart decreased slightly.
At worst, when my grandfather is discharged from the hospital, I will take him for another check–up myself.
Calvin thanked the doctor and glanced at the watch on his wrist.
“Let’s go buy lunch, Valerie is here, let’s get something delicious.”
“Oh, right, I originally came with my sister, but I forgot the room number.”
