The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning (Madelyn) novel Chapter 1143

Chapter 1143

“I wish you would’ve died sooner! I could’ve had a better life and lived with someone I liked. But you had to ruin everything I had selfishly!” Madelyn screamed.

Zach laughed and said, “So what? Everyone who knows about this secret has died. Madelyn, come back to my side, okay?”

He pleaded with her, “I’ll pretend everything that happened today didn’t happen.”

Madelyn stared at him and could only see an insane and sick man.

She did not know how Zach turned out this way.

‘Does Zach love me? I hadn’t done anything, yet Zach fell in love with me. I did so much for him in my previous life, but he chose Cecilia as his wife. What the hell was the point of everything in my previous life?

Madelyn thought.

She asked him, “Why?”

Zach replied, “It’s because I love you.”

He moved closer and repeated, “I love you.”

He took a third step and continued to repeat, “I love you.”

Madelyn laughed and said through teary eyes, “You love me? You love me! You never loved me. I was never the one you loved. I did so much for you in my previous life. Did you know what I’ve done for you in my past life?” Her voice trembled.

Chapter 1143

Zach stood there, seeing the hatred in her eyes and listening to her

words. Tears trickled down her eyes as she said, “Didn’t Cecilia tell

you? On the day of our wedding, you brought her back and had sex in our room! On our wedding day! You were even stuck with her during

our honeymoon!

“Then, on the eighth year of our marriage, you despised me for not being able to bear children, so you took care of Cecilia’s kid behind my back for over five years. Everyone treated me like a joke. When

you brought that child home, you had Kevin give me divorce papers,

which left me homeless and penniless,” Madelyn cried.

“Because of Cecilia, you threw me out of Ventropolis and had me

never return. In the first year of our divorce, I had late-stage cancer. Today was the exact date that I died. You also married Cecilia the day

I died. After all you’ve done in the past, do you think I could forgive

you?” She asked Zach.

“Zach, I’ve tried to forget about it but couldn’t. I’ve thought of dying,

but why couldn’t it be you who died instead? I didn’t do anything at all!

Can’t you just let me go, Zach? Even if it’s just once, I want to live for

myself,” Madelyn pleaded.

And all the truth finally came out. Zach replied, “If I die, you won’t

leave anymore, right?”

Madelyn’s heart skipped a beat as she shouted, “What’re you going to

do!”
