A nurse holding a medical tray intended to apply medication to the wounds on Cecilia’s body. When she stood outside the door and 

heard Cecilia’s angry shouts from inside, she hesitated and dared not 

to enter the ward. 

Cecilia’s miserable curses could be heard continuously. She yelled, ” 

Why?! Why do they all want to go against me?!” 

Agustin frowned lightly, showing no emotion. After spending such a 

long time with him, Cecilia still never truly understood him. He was 

very mysterious. Regardless of what happened, he seemed capable 

of staying detached and maintaining a composed demeanor. 

When he saw Cecilia had gone mad, he carried her to the bed and 

covered her with a blanket. He said, “Did I not tell you? Don’t do 

anything else besides focusing on giving birth to my child.” 

She looked like a mentally disturbed person. Her eyes were red and 

carried a hint of fierceness as she replied, “Don’t forget, we had a 

child; he killed it.” She grabbed Agustin’s hand and placed it on her 

abdomen, “You do know that I’m more eager than you to have a child.” 

Cecilia did not really know who Agustin really was. In her past life, she 

had never encountered him. He was so mysterious that she could not 

find out about his background at all. 

Agustin found Cecilia simply wanting to have a child with her. After

Agustin spoke louder, “How long do you plan to eavesdrop? Come in!” 

The nurse was frightened. She then slowly entered the ward, “I’m 

sorry! I noticed that Ms. Samford’s emotions weren’t very stable, so I didn’t dare to come in. Ms. Samford, you’re two months pregnant now. Luckily, you were rescued in time; the doctor has already given 

you a shot to maintain the pregnancy. Just take good care of 

yourself, and you’ll be able to be discharged soon.” 

“What did you say? I’m pregnant?” Cecilia squinted in disbelief. 

The nurse noticed her expression had eased, “Yes, you’re really lucky! Your baby is very healthy.” 

Cecilia thought, ‘This turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Fred, you 

sent someone to secretly drug me, but unexpectedly, nothing 

happened to me at all!’ 

After the nurse left, Cecilia happily said in Agustin’s arms, “We both 

know the main culprit of this matter is Fred. He’s the one who caused 

all this to happen to me. If we don’t make him suffer, I’ll never get 

over it.
