The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning (Madelyn) novel Chapter 1307

Chapter 1307

Blake tightly held onto the man’s hand, refusing to let go. “I don’t want to. Your scent reminds me of him. I don’t want to let go of Kevin. If I

let go of you, he’ll disappear again.”

In Kevin’s arms, Blake lifted his hands and put them back down again.

He said, “Blake, don’t be like this. You’re getting married soon.”

Blake hugged his waist tightly. “I don’t like Liam. He and I are just good friends. I promised Kevin that I’d wait for him to come back. But

Cecilia has been pressuring me. The first time, she threatened me

with Madelyn’s safety. She told me she found her, and if I didn’t marry

Liam, she’d kill her.

“The second time was about Dal’s safety. She even wanted to deal

without any hesitation. He immediately rushed over to Blake when he

saw her sleeping on the couch.

Janice happened to be near as well. She breathed a sigh of relief.

when she saw Blake being carried downstairs by Liam. “Luckily, Blake

is fine.”

“Yeah, she merely fell asleep. Thank you for watching over Blake for

me tonight. But how did she end up in a place like this?”

Janice hesitated for a moment but did not reveal the truth. Instead,

she said, “It’s actually my fault. I hadn’t seen her in a long time and

happened to run into her while shopping, so I brought her here. I just

didn’t expect her to drink so much. She should be fine, right?”

Liam looked at Blake. “She’ll be fine. Thank you for your trouble. I’ll

give you a ride home.”

Janice immediately waved her hand. “It’s okay. My home is nearby.”

Liam nodded. “Okay, be safe.”

“Okay.” Janice watched as Liam carried Blake away. She sighed with “Okay.” Janice wa
