Clement was holding back his anger. He continued saying with his hands on his hips, "To be fair, we could've waited for her progress as long as there was no breach of contract. She was sick. It wasn't something that she could control. But you took over her task and submitted the artwork early without asking for a proper handover from her. What did we gain from finishing the work ahead of schedule?

"Did we get a compliment? Or was there extra pay?

"Because of one thing that you said, in the past few days, every one of us worked overtime to catch up with the progress. Sandy was overworked and ended up in the hospital. You should know that Encounter Gaming gave us enough time that would've allowed us to finish the work without needing to work overtime."

Jane sneered, "So, you think everything is my fault? I merely wanted everyone to finish the work quickly so that we could have some time to rest!

"Clement, I don't know what to say when you've gone to this extent in being a bootlicker! As for you saying I'm jealous of Madelyn, what's there for me to be jealous of?

"I've always handled things fairly. I wouldn't turn a blind eye when Madelyn lacked competence and failed to follow instructions. Prof. Monet entrusted the studio to me. So, I must take on the responsibility. If you think it's my fault, I have nothing more to say then."

Dorian walked over to comfort Jane, "Don't be angry. He's been misled by Madelyn. His judgment is clouded."

Clement responded, "I won't say out what's going on in your mind. You know it yourself! Don't forget what Prof. Monet said when he handed over the studio to you. We've worked together for so many years. We're a team! We should support and help each other! You shouldn't just indiscriminately kick her out of our team!"

"Clement!" Jane was furious as she yelled his name.

Usually, Jane was the calmest member of the team. Apart from Madelyn, her abilities were considered quite good too.

Today, it was rare that she got so furious!

It was because of Jane's leadership skills that Leonardo decided to entrust the studio to her.

Now that there was a problem, she must be responsible for it.
