He grabbed his phone from the nightstand and dialed someone’s number. 

It was only nine-thirty at the time. 

The Jardin Corporation was still brightly lit, and the employees, including Kevin, were working late into the night. 

“Hello, Mr. Jardin,” Kevin said. 

Zach directly said, “Have someone keep a close watch on Mya. Don’t let her and Fred have any contact.” 

‘Mya and Fred?’ Kevin could not fathom how Mya could be connected to Fred.

The sun shone brightly the next day, but Zach’s movement was what awakened Madelyn. 

After Zach was done, she fell back asleep. 

Zach cleaned her up, placed her back on the bed, and left with a satisfied smile. 

He drove back to the Jardin Corporation, with Kevin already waiting for him downstairs. 

Kevin walked over and followed behind Zach, “The information you wanted to publish to the news is ready. Mr. Jardin, are you sure you want to do this?” 

“Do you need me to repeat everything to you for a second time?” Zach replied. 

“The stock price of our company isn’t stable now. If you were to break off the engagement with Ms. Young rashly like this, it would raise suspicions. They might even find out about the plane crash.” 

“I don’t have to care about what other people think of my company. Things like this will happen sooner or later. Announcing it now will not make any difference.” Zach walked into the elevator as he spoke.

Zach shot him a cold glance, “Since when is this your decision to make? Just do as I said.” 

“Yes, Mr. Jardin.” Kevin had no choice but to comply.
