Zach said, “Cecilia is still useful to me. I can guarantee she won’t appear again in the future…” 

Madelyn lifted her head to meet his cold gaze, “That’s none of my business! Whether you send her abroad or bring her back, it’s none of my business. I’ve already forgotten everything that happened today. It’s meaningless to bring it up now. That villa belongs to you. I was just staying there temporarily. I’ll have Margaret remove my things from the villa tomorrow.”

Zach responded, “Are you done scolding me? If you’re not satisfied, do it in a way that satisfies you, and after you’re done venting your anger, come home with me.” 

Madelyn thought, ‘I should’ve known that I could never escape and that I’d be brought back after I got driven out.’ 

There was a fruit platter on the guest table. Madelyn grabbed the fruit knife on the table and angrily held it to his neck. 

Zach did not dodge. He did not even blink. 

Upon noticing the situation in the room, Clement, who was outside, wanted to push the door to go in. Dorian immediately pulled him back, “We can’t meddle in their affairs. Let’s just wait and see!” 

Madelyn’s hand was trembling. The sharp edge of the knife made a small cut on Zach’s neck. 

She said, “Zach, I’ll really kill you!” 

“I’m now giving you the chance to do it. If I’m not dead, does it mean you’re satisfied?” Zach stood up. Blood dripped onto his black shirt. 

If Madelyn really cut him, Zach would surely die. 

He knew she did not dare to kill him.
