The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning (Madelyn) novel Chapter 977

Chapter 977

The commotion upstairs quickly led to Mya’s screams and the sound of something shattering into pieces. In her room, Mya had accidentally broken a vase, one that held the flowers Madelyn had given her during a hospital visit. Mya had been taking care of them, ensuring they did not wither. Now, in despair, Mya sat on the floor, sobbing, holding the wilted flowers..

Fred’s men swiftly carried Mya downstairs taking advantage of the chaos. In a state of confusion, Mya cried for help, “Call the police… I want to report them. They’ve broken my flowers.”

Blake was stunned by Mya’s reaction and said, “Mya, what are you doing? You should be worried about yourself, not the flowers!”

As Mya was brought downstairs, seeing Fred seemed to snap her back to reality. She recoiled, crying out, “He’s a bad man. Blake, help me! I don’t want to see this bad person again.”

Grace was helpless and distraught. She could only watch as Mya was taken away. Grace tried to stop them but was pushed aside, falling to the ground.

Mya sobbed and pleaded, “Don’t push my mom… please don’t…'”

Mya was brought before Fred, but she refused to look at him. All she wanted was to check on her mother. Fred’s icy voice stopped Mya, “Where do you think you’re going?”

Mya pushed the formidable man in a burst of defiance and yelled, “You’re a jerk! Your men pushed my mom! I hate you! Leave my house, I never want to see you again!”

Though Mya pushed Fred, he remained unshaken, his expression unwavering. He observed her teary eyes and apparent fear.

“I hate you the most, just like Madelyn’s brother,” Mya cried, running to Grace. “Mom, are you hurt? Let me take a look at you.”

Grace comforted Mya with tears in her eyes and said, “It’s okay, Mya. I’m fine, don’t cry.”

“Sorry, Mom… I should have known he would hurt you. I won’t be his friend anymore,” Mya sobbed, her tears flowing freely.

Suddenly, Mya confronted Fred. Blake was too late to intervene. She watched in horror as Mya, biting down hard, sunk her teeth into Fred’s arm and glared at him with resentment as she observed his expression. Blake watched, fearful of Fred’s reaction. She thought, ‘This is bad.’

The astonishment was clear on Riley’s face, who was beside Fred. Riley wanted to intervene but was stopped by Fred.
