355.Chapter 355
355.Chapter 355
Diana’s eyes lit up as she dashed toward Eliza, her excitement overflowing.
“Hey, wait a second!” Eliza’s face fell the moment she saw Diana raise her arms, knowing what was about to happen.
Before she could react, Diana had her in a firm grip, lifting her off the ground and spinning her around until the world blurred and stars danced on her head.
“Liza, I finally got to see you! I miss you so much. Did you miss me? Come on, say it. If you don’t, I won’t let you down.”
The familiar warmth, the familiar person. It was so unmistakably Diana. Clinging to Diana’s neck, Eliza quickly blurted out,” Of course, I missed you. How could I not? Now, put me down before I throw up.”
Diana burst into laughter. “Alright, one more spin then.” With a playful grin, she twirled Eliza around one last time, just enough to satisfy herself and leave Eliza thoroughly dizzy.
When Eliza’s feet finally touched the ground, her legs felt weak. It had been ages since Diana had spun her like this. It left her struggling to steady herself.
Diana tilted her head, puzzled. “What’s wrong, Liza? We’ve only been apart for half a year, and now you don’t even enjoy my spins anymore?”
Eliza’s lips twitched. “First off, it’s been more than half a year. Second, I’ve never enjoyed it.”
Despite being a woman, Diana was taller than her. Eliza was dwarfed whenever she stood next to Diana. What made it worse was Diana’s habit of treating her like a child. The spinning just now, for example.
No fifteen–year–old ever got picked up and spun around by her best friend. It was embarrassing.
“Liza, I’m so upset! I don’t care. Tonight, I’m sleeping in your room.” Diana whined, clinging to Eliza like a lazy cat that refused to let go even after being set down.
Eliza swatted Diana’s arm off her neck with a sharp slap and rolled her eyes. “As if you’d stop barging into my room just because I said no.”
Diana giggled shamelessly. “Exactly! Like I’d let you stop me.”

Meanwhile, Matthew stood off to the side, completely ignored. His face darkened with frustration as he snapped, “Diana! Have you completely forgotten who your fiancé is?”
He’d been holding this in for ages. Diana spent all her time glued to Liza instead of building a relationship with her fiancé. It had always been like this. Matthew was fuming.
While Matthew fumed in silence, Benedict’s gaze remained fixed on Eliza from afar. Ever since she arrived, he had been quietly watching her. His eyes lingered on her genuine smile. Yet, after a long moment of hesitation, he didn’t step forward. “If you’re so unhappy, then sign the papers. You’ll stop being my fiancé immediately,” Diana said lightly, her tone dripping with disdain. Then, as if flipping a switch, she turned back to Eliza with a bright, cheerful smile.
The speed at which her expression changed almost made Matthew explode with rage. But Diana couldn’t care less about him. She was completely fixated on Liza in her nun outfit.
With a curious look, she tugged at the hat on Eliza’s head, then at the robe she wore. It was a plain nun’s outfit, but somehow, Liza made it look stunning.
Perhaps because she’d never seen Eliza dressed like this before, but this nun version of her had Diana utterly captivated. The more she stared, the more excited Diana became. Unable to hold back, she reached out and gave Eliza a playful ruffle. Eliza stiffened. ‘How do I say I spent three days raising killer spiders and forgot to make the antidote?‘
Eliza swatted her hand away and said, “Stand still and stop being so handsy.”
Diana let out a soft “Oh,” pouting as she fell silent.
Meanwhile, Matthew’s anger flared as he watched the women. “Two women clinging to each other like that–it’s disgusting!” The moment those words left his mouth, both Eliza and Diana shot him sharp glares.
“Only someone with a filthy mind sees filth everywhere. Liza and I have been friends for over a decade. What’s wrong with being close? And why do you think it’s any of your business?” Diana snapped with disdain. She gave him a look of utter contempt.
Eliza, on the other hand, remained indifferent. Successfully unlocked! ymore, so it’s not your place to meddle.” “Benedict, look at those brats. They’re completely out of contion: Are you yuing to stand there and say nothing to back me up?” Matthew tried to rally support.
But the moment he finished speaking, Benedict simply turned his head away, making it clear he had no intention of getting involved.
355.Chapter 355
Matthew thought to himself, ‘I must have picked the worst day to leave the house!‘
Not only did his fiancée slap him around, but she was even threatening to break off their engagement. To top it all off, Eliza, the instigator, had shown up to provoke him in person. “This is absolute chaos!”
Eliza let out a cold laugh. “And who exactly do you think you are to dictate the law? Since when did anything between Diana and me become your business?”
Matthew snapped, “I’m your brother! Who else would I be?”
“Oh, now you remember you’re my brother? Funny how that never seemed to occur to you before,” Eliza replied, her tone unhurried and laced with mockery.
Matthew glared at her fiercely. “Maybe not in name anymore, but we share the same blood. Whether you like it or not, you can’t deny that!”
