Chapter 701
Eliza replied, “You don’t need to know. Either way, they will never come to save you. After all that nonsense, you can go ahead and die now
Hearing that Eliza was serious, Sophie was instantly both shocked and furious. Her eyes blazed with killing intent as she roared, “Finet i fall into your tran today. But you can’t kill me by yourself!”
As she shouted, she pulled something out from behind her back.
Inside the room, countless poisonous parasites surged toward her.
Just as they were about to swarm over her, Sophie suddenly hurled the item in her hand.
Only one person in the entire scene saw what it was. It was Tina, the one who had been hiding in the shadows.
She shouted, “Watch out!”
A deafening blast erupted. The entire room exploded. Thick clouds of smoke billowed out in all directions.
The first to charge out from the smoke was the very culprit who caused it all.
Covering her nose and mouth, Sophie dashed through the haze, trying to flee as fast as she could.
But she hadn’t even made it past the courtyard gate when two figures suddenly appeared and blocked her path.
Sophie shouted, “Get out of my way! Anyone who stands in my way dies!”
Sophie pulled out another one of the same objects.
She threw it again, but this time it was Rafe and Renee who stood before her.
They saw it clearly, a thumb–sized iron ball that let out a click as soon as it was thrown, like something had been activated.
The moment it hit the ground. It exploded again, releasing another burst of smoke to obscure everyone’s vision.
Sophie tried the same trick again, but what she hadn’t expected was that the masked servant who had provoked her earlier actually recognized her
black sphere.
And just as the ball hit the ground, he shouted, “Careful! That’s a Thunderclap Bomb! Get out of the way!”
Thanks to the warning, Renee reacted in time.
After dodging the blast, the two of them immediately locked onto Sophie as she tried to escape again.
Flying needles and razor–thin blades rained down like a storm, all aimed at Sophie.
Sophie cursed, “Damn it!”
Just as she leapt onto the wall, she had no choice but to fall back into the courtyard to escape.
At the same time, Tina flew out of the smoke, holding Eliza in his arms, and landed in the courtyard.
Adeline and Caleb were also escorted out of the half–collapsed room by Dale.
“What are those Thunderclap Bombs?” Eliza had heard Rafe shout earlier and now asked.
Seeing that she was unharmed, Rafe and Renee both let out a sigh of relief.

Rate explained, “I’m not too sure myself. I know they’re nimmered to have originated in Bortenland and later spread to foreign tribes the managed to get a few back then, but we injured two of our own due to improper uie: We stopped messing with them anor that ***
Then he added, as an afterthought, “Maybe the Prince Regent knows more. You could ask him later.”
Eliza nodded slightly but said nothing about whether she’d actually ask Nolan. Instead, she looked toward Sophie.
Sophie questioned, “Eliza, are you seriously planning to kill me? Don’t forget, you’re the Holy Lady! You’re a nun now! If you kill someone, aren’t you‘ afraid you’ll ruin your saintly name?”
Surrounded by enemies, with no way forward and Eliza behind her, Sophie was truly panicking now.
She didn’t want to die here. Especially not after already having died once before. She had experienced that terrifying feeling, and she was terrified of dying again. More importantly, Rodrigo had told her that if she died again, there would be no second resurrection. Her soul would completely collapse and vanish upon death, and the world would never know Sophie again.
But she still had so much left to do, so much revenge left to take. She hadn’t killed Eliza yet and hadn’t punished her father. She couldn’t die here.
“Don’t worry,” Eliza said with a faint smile, watching Sophie scramble around trying to escape. “I won’t even need to lift a finger to deal with your
As she spoke, her poisonous parasites spread out, surrounding the entire courtyard, staring at the one and only enemy with cold, murderous intent.
Rafe and Renee charged at Sophie without hesitation.
Rafe’s strength had always been unfathomable, and Renee, trained by Tina, was both talented and diligent. Either one alone could’ve beaten Sophie easily. Let alone the two of them working together.
Sophie quickly found herself unable to defend. She couldn’t even strike back.
