The dragon that was colliding with Fane's Blade Wave was not going to hold out for long. Lashes appeared wherever the swords connected, then a loud crack tore through the air, and it shattered into pieces.

Meanwhile, there were still a few dozen swords left behind from Fane's attack.

They speared forward relentlessly.

Cloud shook his head, unable to believe the sight before him. His expression darkened, as though a cloud veiled his feature.

As the flying swords drew closer, Cloud threw up a Chi shield enclosing him before turning around and flying off.

The flying swords were fast. Two of them quickly shot toward him, but they were blocked by his shield. Another two surged forth, finally cracking the shield open.

One of the swords landed on his thigh. Blood gushed out of the puncture wound.

Cloud managed to dodge another sword, but it grazed his arm, ripping through his shirt and gave him another wound.

Cloud cried out, flying extremely fast.

“Still thinking of escaping?"

Fane kept the shield when he saw that his opponent was trying to escape. He took his sword and gave chase.

"You pushed me to this, you punk. My cultivation level will drop a bit if I use this pill, but it’s fine so long as I can kill you two. Hah!"

Cloud laughed, a feral grin lighting up his face.

"What pill did he just take? His aura is a lot stronger, and the pressure he emanates makes me feel as though he's at the peak of the true god status!"

Helena stared at him in shock.

"He must have used some sort of forbidden pill to increase his cultivation level for a short period of time. But judging from his tone, it seems that he won’t be able to maintain it for long. There might be a

Fane looked at him, expression solemn." But we don't know how long the pill lasts for," he said. "It'll be troublesome!"
