The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 3556

The moment Rudy said that, a rumble could be heard from ahead of them. Lifting his head, he spotted the Crimson Tortoise he had just talked about. The massive shell was filled with red-colored seals, and its whole body was surrounded by heat waves. In front of the Crimson Tortoise was a man in gray robes, the man they had seen.

Rudy's lips twitched. "It's a plot! This is definitely a plot!"

Anyone would have been able to figure that out. It was just that Rudy could not understand why they were doing that. He anxiously pulled at his hair, and his heart was beating rapidly, getting more and more anxious as he thought about it.

Rudy looked at the two that were far away. "Those two are warriors from second-grade worlds, and they must be plotting against those from third-grade worlds. Surely we can't just do nothing about it!"

After that was said, Rudy shut his mouth and held his tongue. Even though the two of them were from Hestia, a third-grade world, they could not stick their hands into everything as though they were saviors of third-grade worlds.

The other warriors from third-grade worlds would not truly appreciate them, anyway. It was a world where the strong were worshiped; hard work got nothing. When there were no benefits for themselves, it was better to not interfere with anything.

Fane turned to look at Rudy. "We'll look at the situation for now, but let's keep following them. If we're patient enough, we might gain something. We came here for ourselves, not to save anyone. It's not like anyone will thank you for it, anyway."

Rudy hurriedly nodded, no longer daring to say anything.

Rudy was stunned. His lips froze, and he was going to ask the reason. However, Fane did not plan on explaining as Fane shot forward, going as quickly as he could toward the east. Rudy opened his mouth but did not say anything in the end, only following Fane.

Rudy was sure that Fane knew where to go, but not the reason they were going there. He did not know why Fane made the decision. It was clear that following one of the two was the safest choice, but Fane never made the wrong decision before.

Rudy swallowed his questions. As they proceeded eastward, Rudy was surprised to notice that the wastelands were starting to change in shape. Small hills began to be seen. The ground was uneven as if it had been smashed out by something.

Rudy looked down to inspect it as he went forward. Some of those craters were formed by attacks, while some were natural. They were heading trite toward the east, which happened to be right at the center of Chaos City.
