The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 3652

Before this, Case and the others were so confident in assuming that Fane was just full of himself, that he had been caught up by his own words and forced to join the fog battlefield with them. Thinking about it, they truly did assume too much.

Fane had not felt like they were worth his notice at all. Entering the fog battlefield with them was just so he would be able to get the skeleton badges from them to exchange for treasures. They were the pompous ones.

Case inhaled deeply. He felt his whole body tremble in utter humiliation.

Fane sneered and said, "Your so-called plan wasn't smart at all. Anyone who thought about it would be able to see through it. You gathered so many people, and it's obvious that it's a pact to kill me. Since you want to work together, you'd need to gather yourselves, or it'd be useless. It's not easy to gather in the fog battlefield."

Fane reached out and touched the dense fog. "The fog obscures sight and sound, so the hardest part of your plan is to gather. After all, the transfer array sent us all to different places.

"Even though the fog obscured everything here, it's not that large of a place, and the geography never changes. A lot of warriors enter the fog battlefield as well. Some of you probably questioned the warriors who had entered before and drew a simple map. You used that map to find a gathering spot."

It had been easy to figure out their plan. Fane had heard a lot of talk on the way from Cloud Valley. Some of the chatter involved people wanting to buy maps. When he heard that, everything became clear.

Unfortunately, Case was too busy thinking of how he would torture Fane to death. Even after he heard those conversations, he did not think too much about it. He never expected that Fane would be able to guess their whole plan just from hearing that.

15 warriors from the Swelling Tide Continent entered the fog battlefield. Fane happened to meet one and learned where they were headed from there. After that, it went much easier. A total of six warriors had died in Fane's hands.
