The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 3684

"Just shut your mouths," hissed Fane, his tone mature. His single command immediately ceased the argument.

Lourain looked at Fane apprehensively, worried that Fane would bring up what happened before. After all, he had been rude to him before they entered the array. He did not even dare to think about what he had said before.

He could say everything he did with conviction in front of regular warriors from third-grade worlds without any worry. However, the situation was different. Fane was no ordinary warrior; he stood at the top of the food chain. Not only at the peak of third-grade worlds, but the absolute one, including second-grade worlds. Fane was probably one of the five or three strongest warriors in the Whirling World.

Someone as horrifyingly strong as that was someone he would not even dare to say anything in front of, let alone offend. Not only had he run his mouth, but he was harsh with his words as well. Lourain had offended Fane, and knowing this, he felt like dying.

Fane turned to look at Lourain. "Do you think everything will resolve on its own when you're hiding?"

Lourain trembled in terror and looked down at his feet. At that moment, his whole body was tense. He shrunk backward, but he did not dare to move too much.

He was like a tortoise hiding in its shell, and the mere sight was amusing. Fane remembered how arrogant he was before they entered the Seven Deaths Array. He complained that the warriors from third-grade worlds were dragging him down and mocking him and Marth.

He held no reservations about his word choice back then, but at this moment, not a shred of his arrogance remained. Fane had been forced to provoke Lourain just for the sake of stopping Lourain from wasting time. Yet, that earlier aura of his was completely gone.

Lourain knew that things would go the opposite way of where he wanted them if he acted the fool. He could not even muster up the courage to fight back at that moment.
