The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 3896

Time slowly ticked away. After four hours, all of the warriors who signed up stepped on the transfer array. A purple light shone beneath their feet, and space started to distort. The transfer array had been activated. While no one was noticing, Fane put his true energy into the nameless badge.

The badge shone immediately. The light condensed into a thin line and slowly circled Lourain. At the final moment, the transfer array's light would surround everyone individually, sending everyone to a different spot.

However, with that thin line, Lourain followed Fane the whole time! After fifteen minutes passed, the distorted space finally settled down. After the scenery stabilized, the two of them once again found themselves standing on solid ground.

It felt gray and barren all around them. Even though there was a river and mountains in front, it felt devoid of life. Looking up, there was no blue sky or white clouds, there was only gray fog. They looked like dark clouds that had been dispersed, floating in the air. Lourain gulped subconsciously, feeling his body stiffen.

They were at the foot of a hill. There were some short trees sparsely littered around the place. They would constantly hear the sounds of birds chirping. However, when they heard that, Lourain merely shuddered as a strange feeling crawled up his body.

He sighed and said stiffly, "Fane, there are some animals, and there's water and even some trees. It has a lot more life compared to Chaos City, but I feel like this place is far more terrifying than Chaos City."

Lourain nodded, "I asked all I could. Demon kings won't appear in the outer regions. Even if we hurry up, we won't be able to find where the demon kings are more active. Only after the battlefield shrinks three times, which is the third day, will we be able to find nests of demon kings."

Saying that, Lourain pursed his lips. There was just too much of a gulf between people. To warriors like him, looking into where demon kings were would be to avoid stumbling into them, for risk of being ripped apart.

Yet, Fane was looking for demon kings because he wanted to rip the demon kings apart for rewards! Fane frowned, "We'll have to wait for the third day?! It doesn't seem worth it to waste our time on moving. The battlefield will shrink as time goes on anyway, and everyone who's still alive will be moved. We'll use the time for the smaller demons then. They're still worth something."
