Maxcus had a wry smile on his face as he told Fane and Lourain what happened to them.

After hearing Maxcus' explanation, Fane's expression started to ease. From what Maxcus was saying, it was likely that Maxcus was not lying. If it really was as he said, Fane could let him off.

Just as Fane was thinking about it, two green demons and two crimson demons with straight postures started to quickly head toward them.

The four demons were incredibly quick and much more agile than regular demons.

Brock held the mask on his face as he turned to look at the other green demon.

"Hey, Lenny! You know how we are! Don't even think about pulling any tricks. Since you said you wanted to work together, make sure everything is fair and above board. Otherwise, don't even bother with 'working together'. I'll get you if I ever find out you pulled something!"

Lenny had a green demon mask on as well. Underneath the mask, his expression was a bit twisted as he tried to hold back the disgust in his heart. If it was not for the situation, he would not have wanted to work with these two.

Brock was someone who was famous for his bad temper. Furthermore, he was from Star Continent. He loved to throw his weight around, constantly talking about his home continent as if he was better than everyone else just because of where he was wrong.

If not because of that, Lenny would have fought Brock. The two of them did not like each other at all, but they were forced to work together. Even if Lenny hated Brock to the core, it was not the time to bring that out.
