The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 4068

All the energy bubbles were lined up tidily and filled up the whole upper part of the White Abyss. Each energy bubble was about the size of two fists. After a few moments, the energy bubbles started to descend and only stopped when it was half a person above ground.

The positions the energy bubbles stopped at happened to be around the waist of the participants. All hundred and twenty-three participants looked at those energy bubbles with stunned expressions, and no one made a move then.

There were a hundred and twenty-three participants and a thousand bubbles. The participants needed to choose three bubbles from the thousand. After all of them have chosen, there would still be over six hundred left. There was more than enough for each participant to choose from.

Everyone patiently observed the energy bubbles around them. All the energy bubbles looked the same, and no matter how hard they tried, they had no way of looking through them.

However, none of them were in a hurry to do anything and were still hopeful. They felt like they needed to observe patiently to be able find something different. Using that difference and their intuition, they could find the bubbles with treasures.

Lourain felt like his eyes were getting blurry as they darted all over, looking around the white Abyss, and at all the energy bubbles.

"Fane, can you see anything different about them?" Lourain looked up and asked earnestly. There was no way Lourain would be able to see anything from his bit of skill, so he put his hopes on Fane. If Fane could not see anything, then he would forget about it.

After three energy bubbles were chosen, the bubbles would turn red signifying the selection could not be changed anymore. The man did not have any regret, and stood by the side with the bubbles he chose, quietly waiting for everyone to make their choices.

Only when everyone had made their choices would the energy bubbles reveal what everyone got. Since there was the first, others started to follow. Everyone tried hard to look at the bubbles but failed to see anything special.

In the end, there was no reason to be so conflicted. Most chose energy bubbles that they were close to, while a small number of them chose the ones further from them. Of course, even if they did, it was still a completely random choice. After all, all the energy bubbles were the same, without any way to tell them apart.
