The exclamations behind him did nothing to slow Fane down. A rumble came from behind him as the door completely shut. Only then did Fane observe his surroundings. He was in a strange world. As he looked at the sky, he saw the colors of the rainbow everywhere.

The seven colors blended as if seven different dyes had been poured into a completely clear pond. Just like the outside world, he was surrounded by distorted space. The distortion did not hurt him at all.
