The Soldier's Unsurpassable Honor novel Chapter 4101

In truth, Carville had wanted to follow up with his attack and strike Fane while Fane was injured! Yet, before he could do anything, the chain flew out from around that guy like a dragon!

"Brat! Don't think you can scare me just by putting up a bit of a show!" Carville said coldly. A gentle breeze blew past, and the mist around Fane was dispersed. Fane's figure appeared in front of Carville yet again.

At that moment, Fane looked the exact same as before. There was not much of an expression on his face, and his body was completely straightened. Carville took a closer look, and not even Fane's clothes had any signs of wear. Even after he had gone all out, that guy was not injured at all.

Carville's expression suddenly changed. That guy was much stronger than he thought. The guy's defenses were several times better than he expected! Carville narrowed his eyes as he started to get serious again. Fane's lips curled up into a faint smile.

That smile seemed especially glaring to Carville's eyes. He felt like Fane was mocking him, mocking him for being unable to even damage Fane's clothing even after an all-out attack. That caused Carville's anger to flare again. He clenched his teeth as he glared at Fane viciously.

"What are you smiling at?! I'll rip your face off!" Fane's smile had shattered Carville's logical reasoning. He took out a sword from his spatial ring as he clenched his teeth.

Fane raised his right hand and the rattling of the chains was heard again. Before Carville could even react, the chain was already right in front of Fane. Carville tried to counterattack. He pushed forward, summoning countless petals to attack the incoming chain!

Only then did Carville snap out of it. Sweat started to drop from his head as he finally realized he had made a huge mistake. The person in front of him was not someone he could afford to offend! Just from that exchange earlier, that person was absolutely a warrior at the peak!

He could not believe that he had offended a warrior at the peak. No wonder that man had been looking at him with such a calm expression. No wonder that man had spoken like that. That person turned out to be a warrior at the peak. In front of that person, he was just a dancing clown!

At the time, he had assumed that person was infuriated with what he said. Yet, it seemed like everything that person said was true. He had just been too ignorant to see it!
