Standing with his hands on his hips, Austin stared ahead at the endless space in front of him.
The space and time were extremely unstable.
Hurricanes as tall as skyscrapers that were made up of space fragments blew across the space from time to time.
In addition, there were also constant bolts of lightning of various colors. They came and went with sudden roars and dazzling flashes.
The environment was intimidating to keep intruders out.
These were not the only horrible things here, however.
Spread ahead in the vast space were many old stone paths extending in different directions.
Each stone path was covered in a large amount of chaotic energy, which crawled and rolled like mist.
Austin began walking, leading his group of salves and the three mermaid race girls.
They had wandered in this area for a long time, yet they didn't want to end their exploration early. They continued walking for another half a day.
Finally, they reached the end of one of the old stone paths.
In front of them, there was a withered tree trunk. It was so large that it blocked their way ahead.
The trunk was very old and rotten with countless cracks and holes left by time and weather. It had not a single branch or leaf. It seemed that life had already abandoned it.
There was an entrance of space and time on the withered trunk.
At the first glance, Austin could clearly tell that it was an entrance leading to another world.
The aura that was seeping from that world was extremely old. Austin assumed it would be a world full of stories.
"Let's go inside and have a look,"
Austin suggested. His followers nodded. Then he strode into the strange, new world first.
As soon as he stepped into the entrance, the new world materialized around him.
The world was completely different from any one he had visited.
Primeval forests crawled and expanded so far that his eyes couldn't see. On the horizon were numerous dark giant cities that looked like crouching beasts.
"Is it possible that there are still some creatures living in this world?
Creatures from other chaotic spaces?"
Austin asked out loud, even though he wasn't expecting his followers to have answers.
Anyhow, they were still in part of the Land of Outlaw.
A Land of Outlaw was actually made up of pieces of another chaotic space that had entered the Sea of Chaos by accident.
The Land of Outlaw hadn't belonged to the Sea of Chaos originally.
Therefore, the Land of Outlaw was not supposed to have creatures from the Sea of Chaos.
If there were any creatures in the Land of Outlaw, they must have come from other chaotic spaces.
And the creatures from the other chaotic spaces must be different from those of the Sea of Chaos.
"We must be careful,"
Austin whispered to everybody.
More than a hundred slaves and the three mermaid race girls followed closely behind Austin and they all nodded in agreement.
The atmosphere was very depressing. The world was filled with a silence that resembled death.
The whole time that they were walking, they didn't see anything alive.
Everything around them was dark. Silent and empty cities were scattered everywhere along the road. On the outskirts, densely-webbed, thick jungles and forests added to the oppressive atmosphere.
The atmosphere was almost suffocating.
Besides all these visible things, Austin also found something that was hard to see.
The energy and laws in this world were very special.
So Austin used his bodily movement skill to go everywhere he wanted to go with his slaves and the three mermaid race girls, with an aim to examine what else might be present.
They spent half a day exploring the new world from above.
All of a sudden, a fierce roar split the air.
All of them turned their faces to the sky.
The roar continued to reverberate through the sky.
It echoed against the clouds and the stones, shattering them. The air broke into waves that pushed them backwards.
At the same time when the terrifying howl was heard, an oppressive energy came from the sky and directed itself at Austin's head.
In an instant, the void was split open and a huge beast's head popped out from the opening.
Austin froze and stared.
It was a flood dragon covered in black scales!
The flood dragon was so thick that its body filled the whole space. It blocked the entire sky, making the earth become dimmer and darker than it had been before.
The dragon's head was huge as it opened its mouth to breath out waves of fire. The scorching aura from the dragon's mouth burnt everything in its way to ashes.
Boom!
The flood dragon roared furiously, aiming its flames at Austin and his people.
It seemed that it didn't want these outsiders to disturb its peace, so it didn't hesitate to use its defenses.
The dragon opened its huge mouth again
and the suction force followed.
In the blink of an eye, the terrible suction force had taken all of them to the dragon's mouth.
Immediately, everything around them, including the stones, mountains, primeval forests, rivers, and cities, flew backward and rushed into the mouth of the dragon.
Caught off guard, Austin was sucked in the direction of the mouth of the dragon, along with his slaves and the three mermaid race girls.
