"Guys, this arrogant brat insulted our sect! We must kill him!" one of the members of the Purple Sword Sect shouted.
"Move!
Let's fight him to the death!" There came another shout.
They all sprang into action, shouting valiantly as they charged at Austin.
"Let's go!
We must defend the dignity of our sect!"
"We must kill this brat no matter what!"
"Let's fight for our sect!"
The people of the Purple Sword Sect were filled with pride and loyalty for their sect, so when it came to protecting their sect, they would do it without any reserves.
They would even die to defend the authority and reputation of their sect.
Moreover, if the leader and the superior elder of the Purple Sword Sect couldn't defeat a young man with an army of elites,
their sect would become a laughingstock in the Sword Cosmos, and their reputation would be perpetually ruined.
There would be no coming back from such a humiliating defeat. It was better to fight to the death now than survive and be laughed at by the rest of the cosmos.
Therefore, every member of the Purple Sword Sect charged with full determination.
The fact that they were fighting for something bigger than them, such as the honor of their sect, helped them muster up their courage and stare death in the face.
Hearing their battle cries, paired with the overwhelming sword aura and sword intent in the air, Austin smiled and nodded approvingly with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Very good.
This is exactly what I want."
The five truths of swordsmanship as well as the world of swordsmanship in his body had begun to absorb the sword aura and the sword intent that were all around him.
Austin could sense that he was having a good harvest, and the fight had only just begun. The longer they stretched this out, the more it would benefit him.
He could clearly feel the world of swordsmanship in his body becoming more and more tangible, taking on a clear form.
However, the smile on his face only served to anger his opponents even more.
"You're dead meat. Let's see who will have the last laugh,"
Winslow snarled at him before waving his hand, causing eighty-one sword lights to appear.
All these thick beams of sword light shot out at Austin in unison.
As they moved, the space around them exploded like tiles.
"Go to hell, brat!"
Elder Reggie shouted as he charged at Austin from another direction.
As he moved, he stretched out his hand,
releasing a black sword light from his palm.
This sword light carried such enormous destructive power that the space within millions of miles around it began to collapse just because of its presence.
And even then, the expression on Austin's face didn't change.
Winslow's attack landed on Austin's body first,
followed a moment later by Elder Reggie's.
With an ear-shattering sound,
Austin's body exploded,
splattering blood and broken limbs in all directions.
A small part of his body even turned into bloody dust, swirling around the space where it had been.
The members of the Purple Sword Sect held their breath as they stared at his body parts, wondering if Austin had really been defeated once and for all.
After all, it seemed as though the destructive sword aura and sword intent had eroded his entire body, leaving nothing untouched.
But before they could even feel a sense of relief,
Austin appeared again at the same spot, looking unharmed.
The truth was,
he was only slightly injured.
Of course,
the main reason why he could withstand such powerful attacks from two semi-governing gods was because they were both swordsmen.
Just the fact that they practiced swordsmanship put them at a disadvantage against someone like Austin, who, with his five truths of swordsmanship and the world of swordsmanship, was not afraid of sword aura and sword intent at all.
Unfortunately, Winslow and Elder Reggie had no idea about this.
As sword cultivators, they were used to using their sword aura and sword intent to attack the enemy.
In fact, their most powerful moves all involved sword aura and sword intent.
But because of this, they were barely able to wound Austin,
let alone cause him major harm.
In fact, in a fight with any other semi-governing god who cultivated something other than sword skills, Austin would have at least defended himself.
But now, fighting against Winslow and Elder Reggie, he didn't see the need to. After all, they could only wound him physically, and physical injuries were too small for him to care about.
"Try again,"
Austin said calmly as he motioned for the two semi-governing gods to continue their attack.
"Damn it!
We'll kill you!" Winslow and Elder Reggie shouted, trembling with anger.
Then, with a great roar, they charged at Austin again.
