Chapter 2612
Irene Johnson was afraid that things would escalate further after Kaitlyn Parson decided to call people here. She could not help but pull Harvey York back and say, “Forget it, Sir York. They‘ve paid the price.”
Harvey pulled the trigger before. Even though he wiped his fingerprints off, too many witnesses were around.
If things were to escalate, he might have been thrown behind bars.
Irene‘s grandfather would probably blame her for poorly taking care of Harvey if that were the case.
She did not want that to happen.
She would rather let the matter pass than get Harvey taken away.
Kaitlyn coldly chuckled after seeing Irene‘s troubled look.
She understood Irene‘s attitude as being fearful
and anxious.
“What‘s the matter? Scared?
“Let me tell you something, Irene! It‘s not too late to kneel!”
As an impeccable look showed on her face, Kaitlyn became bold once again.
“If you don‘t kneel and apologize, you‘ll get what‘s coming for you!”
Irene‘s face was as cold as ice after hearing those words...
She wanted to defuse the situation, but she did not expect Kaitlyn to keep egging her on like
that.
“Don‘t worry, Ms. Johnson. I won‘t cross the line.”
Harvey merely showed a warm smile toward
Irene.
“Some people just need a few slaps on their face so they know where they stand!
“We need to show them how terrifying their enemies are by giving them a little pain!”
At this point, Harvey knew full well that his only choices were to squash Kaitlyn entirely or give up Morgan Johnson‘s indecisive alliance.
Crushing Kaitlyn could make Morgan stand by Harvey‘s side no matter what.
