Ruby froze; even she couldn’t comprehend just how stupid Lilian actually was.

But for the sake of the plan, she remained calm and collected.

“Mrs. Yates, of course Young Master Bauer will propose to CEO Zimmer. But not today, and not right now.”

“We wanted you to call her here to ask for her help…”

“What kind of help?”

Lilian was confused.

“Your dear son-in-law is causing Young Master Bauer trouble right now.”

“Young Master Bauer is extremely unhappy. We hope your daughter can convince Harvey to stop.”

“This will do no good to anyone involved, after all!”
