Chapter 3791
Harvey looked weirded out.
He came to Flutwell a long while ago, but he had never gotten a chance to see Samuel.
Yet, Harold called Harvey just for this purpose.
Harvey narrowed his eyes as he stared at the villa. Then, a few people showed up.
One of them was none other than the long–awaited master of Longmen and the Bauer family, Samuel Bauer.
Harvey frowned.
“Is the master of Longmen really sick?”
“He does have some health complications, but it’s not as serious as people think. He won’t die from it,” Harold replied calmly.
“Rumors of him passing away soon had been spreading because he wanted to see which one of the family’s young masters is more suitable to take his position.”
“So, it’s a misdirection?” Harvey smiled faintly.
Harold’s face paled slightly at those words.
“It’s only normal for big families like ours, right?”
“Only truly powerful people can keep the family from dying. This is the standard.”
“This is why people say that big families are emotionless.”
Harvey nodded; he didn’t want to get involved with the Bauer family’s affairs.
After nodding at Samuel who was standing from afar, Harvey slowly walked over.
“It’s been a while, Sir York.”
Samuel, sitting in his wheelchair, raised his head at Harvey before smiling faintly.
His voice still seemed a little weak, despite his appearance.
“Have you hurt yourself? Did you fail at uniting yourself with nature?” Harvey asked as he looked at the man.
He knew Samuel’s strength quite well; even amongst the Gods of War, the man was still considered one of the best.
