Chapter 3873
Harvey York frowned.
Safe to say that Blackburn City was utterly lawless.
Conspiring with a government official like this was clearly a bit too much.
Nellie Padlow thought that Harvey was scared when she saw his face.
She quickly regained her courage as she gritted her teeth.
“What? You’re scared now?” she glared at Harvey with a cold smile.
“Do you finally understand what you did wrong?
“There’s still time to beg!
“If you don’t do that, don’t blame me for what happens next!”
Nellie told Rayne Bell to get the other medical staff and security guards. Harvey and the others were completely surrounded inside and out.
The people were fiercely glaring at Harvey and the others. They were confident their numbers were enough to intimidate them.
Nellie became more arrogant after seeing the sight.
“Grovel and lick my shoe clean, kid!” she exclaimed after letting out a cold chuckle.
“If not, you and your friends will have to stay behind bars for a while!”
Irene Johnson was starting to panic.
Julian York coldly scoffed with a disdainful look on his face.
The people around were shaking their heads, feeling pity for what was about to happen to Harvey.
“What are they going to do when the inspectors arrive? So what if they can fight?”
‘What are they going to do? Go against the law?”
Harvey showed a calm expression while he looked at Nellie.
“I don’t know if we’ll be thrown behind bars…
“But, I do know that you and the hospital will have to pay the price for what happened.
“It’s already bad enough that you’re immoral, but you’re also trying to take advantage of people’s lives here!
Rayne and the others nodded in unison before showing prideful looks.
Naturally, they believed that the ignorant fool, Harvey, was about to meet his horrible end.
“Sir York, should we call for backup?” asked Julian instinctively after seeing the sight.
“No. I want to see just how Blackburn City’s inspectors would react to the situation,” replied Harvey with a faint smile.
Julian hesitated before remaining silent.
Soon after, sounds of engines could be heard at the hospital’s entrance.
A dozen men in uniform with firearms walked inside.
A man with a buzzcut who was leading the group waved his hand before shoving the crowd aside toward Nellie
“I heard that someone’s causing trouble here, Director Padlow,” he said with a fierce look on his face.
“Who is it?!
“I’ll teach them to respect Blackburn City’s laws!”
