Chapter 3892
Half an hour later, Harvey and the others went to the Cobb family’s meeting hall inside the villa.
The entire place was built around mountains and rivers; the entire building had a vintage feel to it.
Different types of culture were perfectly blended into one; the builders’ ambition could clearly be seen through the immaculate designs.
It was a shame the Cobb family was on the verge of falling apart.
The meeting hall was about three thousand and two hundred feet wide. An expensive chair was set right in the middle of the hall.
Rows of wooden chairs were placed on both sides; it was an extremely lavish sight.
Harvey and the others stood still as footsteps could be heard from the back.
Six people showed up from behind the hall. After a while, an old lady with white hair stepped out.
She was a little small; her back was slightly arched, and she had a cane in her hand. She seemed quite scrawny, but her gaze was very sharp.
She had a cold look on her face as she glared at Harvey; he immediately frowned, feeling as if he was being stung by needles.
Without question, this was Grandma Cobb-Dean’s very own wife.
A dozen other people showed up after that.
They were all standing in a corner peeking their heads out; when they saw Harvey and Katy’s face, they showed utter disdain.
A few beautiful women were pouting in secret, thinking that Katy was either stupid or had insanely low standards to get someone like Harvey as her man.
The Cobb family would never allow Katy to get Harvey as their live-in son-in-law; they believed that he’d ruin the family’s extravagance.
“Grandma Cobb!”
Eden, Valery, and the elders stepped forward before bowing respectfully to her.
Grandma Cobb casually sat in her seat, ignoring the others.
