Chapter 4500
Avery didn’t realize it, but Gabriel was already shivering in fear.
He quickly dragged Avery back, and repeatedly bowed to Azrael.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Bolton! I’m really sorry! My wife’s a little out of it right now!”
“She didn’t mean it! Please be kind to her!”
Lilian kept nodding. “That’s right, that’s right! She’s a little crazy! She didn’t mean it!”
Lilian wasn’t worried about Avery at all. She simply didn’t want Azrael to get angry and take back the money he gave her.
“Mr. Bolton, here’s my wife and my parents-in-law,” Harvey said calmly, before Mandy could speak.
“This woman didn’t mean to offend you.”
“Give her a chance.”
Harvey didn’t want Avery to die, even though he didn’t like this woman and her husband.
If that happened, Lilian would pester the living daylights out of him.
“I see. They’re your family,” Azrael said.
“Hahaha! What a coincidence!”
He waved his hand, signaling for the others to step back.
Then, he looked at Lilian and Simon. “I’m sorry about that, everyone.”
It was rare for a prominent figure like Azrael to be this respectful. Even his subordinates were completely shocked to see it.
Gabriel and the others kept waving their hands. “It’s fine! It’s really fine!”
Kellan approached Ms. Lee and the lady welcoming them, and glared at the two.
“Are you idiots blind?” he snapped.
“Do you even know how to do your jobs?”
“This is Sir York’s family! Why would you let them stay outside for so long?”
“Do you want to die?”
Naturally, Kellan scolded Ms. Lee and the others because he wanted Simon and Lilian to have an out. He was only doing this for Harvey’s sake.
