Mandy Zimmer frowned.
“What’s the condition?”
“You know the answer yourself,” replied Amora Foster.
“We’ve made such big strides just for that one thing since the beginning.
“Get Harvey to deal with my father’s problem.
“You, of all people, can convince him to do that, right?”
Mandy’s face turned dark before heaving a sigh.
“I’ll be honest with you, Ms. Amora! The contract’s extremely tempting to me!
“I really do want it!
“But I just can’t accept the condition.
“I was the one who brought Harvey to the Ostrane Five.
“But now, I don’t think I can do that again.
“Other than preventing him from being humiliated again, you’re simply not worth it!”
“Not worth it?
Amora smiled faintly.
“I’m asking you this one last time.
“Are you signing the contract or not?
“Just tell it to me straight. Stop beating around the bush.”
“I won’t sign it!” exclaimed Mandy while shaking her head.
Amora let out a cold chuckle.
“Even with a hundred and fifty million dollars on the line?”
“Right!” replied Mandy with a stern expression.
“All you need is a simple phone call,” said Amora persuasively.
“Harvey doesn’t need to pay anybody respects, but he’ll definitely listen to you.”
Mandy sighed.
“That’s why I’ll protect his dignity.”
Amora heaved a long sigh.
“What a match made in Heaven. I envy you.”
Then, she stepped forward before swinging the back of her palm across Mandy’s face.
