Chapter 5202
Alani Carlson’s beautiful expression slowly dissipated before squinting at Harvey York.
“I know that you have frightening skills, Sir York.
“I alone wouldn’t be able to handle you.
“But did you really think that I wouldn’t make preparations for this?”
Along with Alani’s words, the windows were instantly kicked down.
A dozen Islanders with long swords rushed inside, with a lot more faintly seen outside the windows.
The ones outside were most likely ninjas.
Harvey glanced around him.
“Each window is fifteen million dollars. Remember to pay up.”
The swordsmen were shaken up by Harvey’s words. They were shocked to see how calm he was.
In their eyes, Harvey’s arrogance was on a whole other level.
Anyone unfamiliar with the situation would assume that Harvey was the one assassinating the entire group of swordsmen.
A moment later, a man with a long and short sword strolled inside with a pompous expression.
It was Shinsuke Yamamoto.
He squinted at Harvey as he clapped his hands.
“As expected from someone under Quill’s tutelage.
“Looks like you’re pretty confident in yourself!
“Not only did you decline the Way of Water’s kindness, but you’re still acting fearlessly now!
“Should I be calling you stupid? Or does your ignorance know no bounds?”
The mental cultivation technique was essential to the Islanders, but it was just the icing on the cake.
Alani’s biggest goal was using Heaven’s Gate’s infighting to sneak in their own men, making one of Country H’s sacred martial arts training grounds a friend of the Island Nations.
Harvey set his cup after finishing his tea. He glanced at Alani while ignoring Shinsuke’s words.
“You have no clue just how ignorant you are…
“And your dog here’s no different.
“You really think you people can do anything to me in this case?
“For the sake of your kindness towards Quill, I’m giving you one last chance.
“Kneel before Quill’s coffin right now, and I’ll consider letting you people go.”
Alani’s expression instantly darkened.
Shinsuke’s mouth also twitched. He was on the verge of lashing out when he heard those words.
